Brought my car in for some repairs after a minor accident. Received zero communication from them…read more When calling for updates, they kept moving the completion date. A week and a half became 3 weeks then when the 3 weeks were up they said "we'll try to squeeze it in the week of ________. (5 weeks after they received the car) When I asked them call me if there was any updates or changes to the timing, I was told they don't do that. Well apparently you don't fix cars in a timely manner either In the future, I will avoid this place at all costs

I was in a minor accident and my insurance company told me to go to this auto body shop to complete…read moremy repairs. I dropped my car off the night before and called in the morning to let them know that i had dropped my car off and to ask a few questions like how long it was going to take the guy that answered the phone was very short and told me a week. I had left the paperwork for my insurance companies estimate on my repairs a month prior to dropping my car off. After hearing no updates of my car over a week later I called where I talked to a lady who seemed to know nothing about repairs except that it was going to be an additional week due to them having to "order over 20 parts" and that insurance companies "only require them to work on each vehicle for 4 hours a day". Another week went by and i was promised to have my car by the end of the following week as it had been three weeks when I was told my car would only take one. I finally got my car back the following day I had a flat tire I assumed it was just from the cold and never thought anything more of it. The following day I started my car to go to work and realized that my headlight was out, which was a part they had replaced, and that there was a huge chip in my paint still that they had completely missed. I called the shop and they requested I come that day so they could look at my headlight and the chipped paint but they requested that I come before 4 because there mechanics don't stay until 5 when they close. I managed to leave work early to be there by 4 for their mistakes. I spoke with the same lady that I had to talk to earlier as they "unplugged and plugged my headlight in again" and somehow it magically worked and as for the chip in my paint "they had no idea how they missed that" i then had to drop my car off for the day to fix the paint but I refused to leave it over night with them again. After all that I thought my car was all set until I was out of state and my car seemed to be stalling at red lights and stop signs I managed to get my car home and It finally stopped having that issue until I left work one day to start my car and it was completely dead as a 2023 vehicle with no prior issues my car shouldn't be dead in -2 degrees weather. After looking under my hood to get a jump I realized my battery was never tightened again after the repairs. Overall I would never go back to this shop again. I am very disappointed in the "work" that was done to my car.

A CLEAR CUT ABOVE THE REST! Collision Works has proven to be…read morethe best repair facility any vehicle owner could hope to find. We had a problem involving the installation of a kayak carrier to the roof rails of my best friend's Subaru. Supposedly qualified personal had managed to push the vehicle's roof rails way out of alignment, and we were looking at replacing the rails and their supports. This could have ended up costing us around $2,000+/- in roof and rail repairs. Dan looked at the problem, and said he could definitely fix it. We were greatly relieved, but upset about the looming bill. Later that day, the roof-top kayak-holder was soundly in place and the rails and their footings were perfect. The seals around the roof gaskets were tight and strong, despite some having been lifted by 1/2 inch or more after defective installations. Dan told us no massive repairs had been in order, and he ended up charging us NOTHING! Perhaps he felt bad for all we had gone through with other repair facilities, but we can still hardly believe it! Dan runs a high-quality repair shop that only does the work that is needed, when many companies would have added unnecessary services that cost the earth, moon, and any kids we had along the way. I mean, how often do any of us get this kind of care, service, and honesty when we need automobile repairs? As far as we're concerned, Collision Works is the only place to go for vehicle repairs. They are the real deal in every way a customer could want, and a person could not do better in the entire Upper Valley. Give them a try, and you will not be disappointed. Dr. George H. Elder & Patti Caruso West Lebanon, NH

December 9, 2024 G K Auto Detailing…read more(Gregory Kelley, owner) 963 E. Barre Road East Barre, VT 05649 802-522-0181 A recent visit was made to G K Auto Detailing in East Barre, VT... near the roundabout off the 302 in Vermont... (be careful, you will miss the narrow driveway...) Once there... Greg will contact you... describe the procedure... and take the keys and your vehicle into his shop... You (hopefully) have a friend/significant other to drive another vehicle to wait nearly two hours while this gentleman does his artwork... Outside his business, one can see a smoke-belching chimney on a cold wintry day... inside the workplace, I can imagine a blazing pot-belly stove creating interior balmy temperatures... There, an endless supply of freshly-made buttermilk flapjacks are being slung onto stately and shiny glass plates... completely drenched in maple syrup (from Vermont!), feeding his hungry customers... while they wait for their vehicles... (Not...) Mr Kelley is professional, thorough, warm, down-to-earth and pleasant to speak with... He details exactly what his work entails... what materials he utilizes... His work is top notch... his prices are more than fair... (He was recommended by the Vermont Quick Lube people in Barre)... It is easy to see why... both of these businesses exude "service with a smile"... Back to G K Auto Detailing... Greg completely undercoated my two vehicles with a protective surface against loose road salt and other contaminants... I want my vehicles to last quite a while... This will now be a yearly renewal process... and Mr Kelley will be tasked to do precisely this... Additionally, in just several short weeks, I will employ Greg with detailing the exterior and interior of my vehicles... I want his attention and expert energies directed exclusively to my vehicles... I must say the following: He is not a detailer... He is an artist... Keep this mind when you see him to work on your vehicles... No blueberry pancakes to have prepared for you during your wait... which is too unfortunate... they would probably be just as good as his work...
