I am very content with the academic program of my school and proud that my school provides evidence based medicine oriented class structure. Most of the professors/faculties are very friendly and student-oriented. The facilities had been upgraded but the student center could use some work. The tables/chairs are failing apart and have to use paper-towel to balance them. (cough cough Mr. President.. cough cough please read this: we want new tables/chairs in the student center) Every student gets a tablet laptop so one less thing to buy for college. It is a 6 year pharmacy program and has only one degree - Pharm. D so if you are not 100% sure if you want to do pharmacy.. i would not recommend this school. But for future pharmacists, i would recommend STLCOP b/c there is no PCAT or separate enrollment after 2 years of normal college courses. Good luck!

I love this school. They are actually building another building with a gym, residence hall and…read morecafeteria that should be done around spring 2017. I love the small campus, it literally takes one minute to get from residence hall to classes or the library. It is surrounded by medical centres, and hospitals so we can do joint research with WASHU med school and have access to medical facilities. Academics is rigorous, but that is to be expected of a pharmacy school. The professors are really friendly, and the classes are smaller (the biggest class probably is around 150-209) than most colleges. If you want to go into pharmacy, it's a great choice. You'll get plenty of rotations and don't have to take the PCAT (unless you are a transfer). Other than the school itself, it's located in Central West End, which has a lot of great restaurants and events. There is also a metro station about 3 minutes of walking distance so transportation isn't much of a problem. It's a 7 year program now instead of 6. If you can endure 7 years, you'll graduate with a pharmacy doctorate degree plus bachelor degree in science or humanities. This school is well known to pharmacists in St.Louis area so if you're looking to be a pharmacist, this is the place to be!

I had some wonderful professors, and some not so wonderful ones as well. The on-campus housing differs from building to building, with some students being put in traditional dorms and others staying in houses close to campus. This works well for some people, but not for others. I was pressured from my first day on campus to choose a major, but I also was a sophomore based on my credit hours when I first started. The cafeteria was nice once they built the new one that is used now. They have a wide variety and with a little thought enable you to eat fairly healthy for most meals. (You are technically adults by time you get to college, you do have to make your own decisions.) They are continually rebuilding and expanding so who knows what the school might be able to offer in a few more years. I know currently a new arts building is being constructed. Rumor has it that this is going to be a beautiful facility and I'll admit I'm slightly jealous that it wasn't there when I was. I graduated in 2005, so there's no telling what happened since. These are just my experiences.

They bring real life experiences to the table instead of just talking out of a book. I really enjoyed my experience at the university and also learned a great deal. (extended stay hotel next to the airport) was definitely not satisfied with the stay there. I would not recommend that "hotel" to anyone. the cleanliness of the hotel was not good, I kind of expected a better living stay, especially next to an airport but that was definitely not the case. I Also don't recommend staying in Bridgeton, is not a great area. They did relocate students to a better hotel & area, which I was satisfied.
