The company who'd replaced our roof didn't replace the flat part. They said it didn't need to be replaced. It was a rainy day when they collected the check. As soon as they were gone, our family room ceiling opened up and gallons of water poured in. The roofing company agreed to replace the flat roof but they did a sloppy job. I had someone on my roof who was screening off areas where critters could access our attic and they told me that flat roof needed to be replaced, sooner than later. I contacted several companies recommended by people on the Nextdoor app. One company came out to give me a quote but never returned my calls. Another company told me they were only doing roof replacements. I appreciated their honesty. I was very specific when I called roofing companies; I didn't need a new roof. One guy came out and told me he could contact my insurance company and tell them my roof had been damaged from a storm. We'd not had any damage to our roof from storms and that's bordering on insurance fraud. I decided to check out Yelp recommendations and saw that Easton had a lot of good reviews. When I called, they were very nice and told me they'd send someone out. The guys from Easton were there on time and they gave me an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable so I called to schedule the repair. The workers were very nice, professional, timely and they were there everyday until it was finished. They cleaned up after the repair so I wasn't finding random pieces of roofing material. Everyone, from the woman who answered the phone to the guys who did the repair was very nice and the whole process was seamless. Easton completed the repair and after years of checking ceilings, I can finally relax. Another contractor I'd used to remodel our house often needed access to the roof. I didn't ask him to check the flat roof but while he was up there, he wanted to check it out. He assured me they'd done a very good job and then asked for their info so he'd have the name of a good roofing company if one of his clients was looking to replace their roof. When an outstanding contractor is impressed with the work done by another company and asking for the company's info, that says a lot. If we have to replace our roof, we'll definitely use Easton and if anyone needs a roof replacement or repair, I highly recommend them. They've earned those 5 star reviews.

A few months after it was completed, my wife and I were on the back deck and bats started flying past our heads. I went in and got my spotlight and sure enought, there was a gaping hole in the corner where the roof meets the wall and there was insulation on the roof and a bat staring out the hole at me. I immediately reached out to Luke, whom I had been dealing with throughout the entirety of the process and sent him a picture of the problem area. He informed me he is no longer with them but he reached out to the owner who offered to come out and put a piece of flashing there for $200. We already paid thousands of $ for a new roof and gutters and this should have been done correctly the first time. To offer to come finish the job they'd already been paid for and charge me for it was an insult. Not to mention he didn't even address the bat issue which was clearly a direct result of them not doing their job correctly. Once I heard the owner's response, it was clear to me how they do business so I just figured I'd deal with it on my own. After trying a couple things on my end, the issue persisted so we called a company to come take care of it. Well, it's costing me $1300. I reached back out and informed the owner of the situation and as expected, he's not taking responsibility so I'm out an additional $1300 PLUS I now have to remove and replace all the insulation in my attic. In addition to all that, The gutter guys showed up on a random day and time in a rust bucket truck and not in uniform which was really odd. I had no idea they were even coming that day and no one called prior to their arrival. The roofers also knocked out my internet. I work from home and it took almost a week to get it fixed. I'm a business owner myself so I don't take leaving negative reviews lightly but the lack of care and resolution to a problem that is so obvioulsly directly related to their crew's negligence, I felt implored to warn people about the way they treat customers after being paid in full. If I were you, I would call someone else and avoid being treated the way we were.
