I've been there to send out some mail, parcels and also to pick up some packages. Each time I was greeted by some friendly staff and all transactions were processed with no issues. I know that the staff has changed from the previous location and in my opinion I like the current ones better. The place is small but seems to have everything needed for all our mailing needs.

With the closure of the previous establishment that served this function there was gap to provide postal services in this stretch. This service location is inside the York Quay Fine Foods. The setup is typical of a Canada Post outlet albeit just new and shiny. Work hours are pretty late on weekday (9 PM from what I read) Service is what it is, while I have a distaste for using other courier services (its to the level of Seinfeld hating Newman) I find Canada Post functional and therefore my preferred method of shipping when appropriate. The sales person was helpful in providing the info I needed. I would recommend this spot over other outlets as its not as busy.

Lie from Canada Post & expected mails gone missing since my complaint…read moreFurther to my Feb 25/26 post with Yelp.ca concerning a possibly all lazy & avoid delivery concern about a no parcel delivery experience I had with Canada Post a month ago, & this "James" person at Canada Post call centre told me " the local depot supervisor would call me "on or before March 2" (LIE!) Well, you guess all correct, NO ONE EVER CALLED WHATSOEVER FROM CANADA POST WHOEVER! Moreover, it has been noticed by me that since about the same date I posted my complaint about Canada Post, at least 3 known & expected regular mails supposedly by Canada Post has not been received at all. Not to mention, unknown number of my Canada Post delivered mails has possibly disappeared without my knowledge since about Feb 20/26. Canada Post has my personal information when I called & complained to this "James" person on Feb 20/26 as they demanded such information in order to process my complaint, & so on. If someone at Canada Post is indeed stealing or preventing some of my mails from reaching me, I believe that is an open violation of not only the Canada Post Corporation Act but also the Criminal Code of Canada & breach of trust.

For example, where it was delivered, what address, and who accepted the package. So, if the package gets lost, forget about it. The automatic doors were too sensitive when it was a bank. I'd round the corner, fairly far from the entrance, and the doors would open for me. Nooo! This post office location is closed on weekends. It was nice walking by the main entrance this evening without the doors opening up. It's street parking. I normally don't have difficulty finding a spot. However, if you can't find anything, you can park where the condos are just north of this Canada Post. There are marked visitor spots. I looked through the glass like the curious person that I am. If you are renting a mailbox, you have access to it at all hours. There are many boxes and sizes, depending on your needs. There are parcel boxes that require a key to access a box. There's also a mailbox that built into the wall. Current hours of operation are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. It's like it's still a bank! It's closed on statutory holidays. It's Victoria Day tomorrow, so there's no postal services here, for instance. It's a nice addition to Markham to have a standalone Canada Post. Most of the time, you have one within either a Shoppers Drug Mart or something different, like a gift shop at Warden and Highway 7. I dig it this new Canada Post. I can't wait to check it out when it's open on a weekday. (156)

They will package your box and…read moretape it up for free- where other outlets force you to purchase duct tape to tape up your own box. I once took a box in with the return slip to the seller and even though this couple realized my parcel needed to be shipped by Purolator, not Canada Post (because of the return label the seller provided) they took the same and loving meticulous care in taping up the package and taping on the return slip, even though they weren't going to make any money off me. This outlet truly holds customer care central to them and I sometime drive out of my way just to take my parcels to them. Thank you.

In the last year or so the business was sold and the new owners are terrible. Where to start? Front desk girls who have complete conversations in Cantonese in front of waiting customers, overcharging for services when other postal outlets charged less for the same service. On one occasion my daughter brought a parcel slip in and was told 3 days in a row that the pkg wasn't there. Went back on the 4th day and someone else told her that the pkg was sent back to England because no one bothered to come and pick it up. Then more recently I brought a parcel slip in and was told the pkg wasn't there and the customer service person didn't even scan the slip or go to the back to look. On our 3rd visit we got the pkg. And when I told my story at work, a co-worker who lives in the area said she has had the same experience. So sad that these new owners get the benefit of the previous owners' reviews.
