We recently discovered this golf course because they are close to home and fairly nice. We've played here 6-8 times. Today, a worker stopped by as we pulled up to chip and told me my skirt was too short and the dress code states that women's skirts are to be mid-thigh or longer. And that I could go ahead and golf today but in the future...And he said, "I don't make the rules." WTH? I have worn these same types of skirts all other times playing and nobody has ever said anything. And I go inside to check in with my husband ever time. Too bad...we won't be coming back.

Nice and will be nicer once all facilities are built. Visited to get some golf in with my father-in-law. Windy day, but was cool. Nice course. They have some more facilities and building planned from what I'm told. Will be even better, then. And I hear that this is a sister course to the other Robson courses in Tucson.

For a neighborhood hangout you can't do better. Great happy hour prices. Decent enough food. The charcuterie plate is my new favorite.

I had a great time and enjoyed several meals here. Our food was prepared right and served with a smile.

The pathways are mostly level with some slight hills but they are not a hike. But the big problem is the pickleball courts. They have four courts on a tennis court. Tennis players DO get to play if they show up and the nets are rolled off to the side. The main issue, though, is there is a group of people who play who think they own the courts and make the rules. One guy threatened us with bodily harm - twice - if we didn't do what they said. (It was over using the paddle rack and we just wanted to play with our group and they said we HAD to play with everyone.) I It was an unpleasant experience for such a nice park.

They have two playgrounds, one for younger kids and one for older kids. It has a trail that goes along a wash so you can see some birds and have some good views of the mountains. As always, in Arizona, you have to be aware of your surroundings. I imagine when it gets warmer. I'll be more snakes..... If you stay in the park proper, there's not as much risk for kids wandering around..... The restrooms were clean, and there were some  nice picnic areas.

It is off the 10 freeway, had a decent size parking lot, and there are covered picnic areas. It is a decent park and has exactly what we were looking for. It is clean and there are bathrooms, a play area for kids, some basketball courts, a walking trail, and a nearby water feature that is on the walking trail. The bathrooms did not have any soap or sanitizer though. This is a good spot for a picnic, or to sit and relax, or get some exercise.

"Please let us out mama!" They either need to potty or play. Probably both. In my travels with my four legged kind, parks are better than rest stops for walking puppies. Every time we opt for a rest stop, other fellow humans come up to us wanting to play with our puppies. We all need our time alone to do our business, puppies are no different. The small pleasures of serenity in a park give the dogs a quiet place for their enjoyment. As their handler I can enjoy a small amount of joy as the puppies have some quality romp time together with no one around. In the middle of nowhere we found this park in the Yelp search. It came back under the search words of park. It's corresponding Yelp page shows no one has explored it yet. We are the first to give our report. The puppies are playing enjoying themselves. It's a rather small place with lots and lots of grass. It's in a little neighborhood that seems to be very safe and quiet. Great place to walk the dogs and enjoy a stroll with the puppies. The climate is perfect right now with the cold at bay. The temperatures in the low fifties. The grass is kept nice and short. If it were warmer out you could enjoy a stroll on that soft grass. The park is well kept with a small jungle gym for the littles. It's nothing fancy, but a small place to enjoy a breathe of fresh air. Their is no fence for your puppies so obey the leash laws in your local community. Currently, just the littlest of the pups is on a leash for "others," protection. They run and play chasing each other. The few trees here the dogs scent; this park is definitely puppy approved. We are on the road again after a few hour lay over for some puppy rest time. As the puppies played we enjoyed some picnic foods from the ice chest. This is a lovely place to build those strong bonds at. Be a kid and go play. The twins slide down and the dogs greet them from the other side. As they play hide and go seek the puppies follow the twin leader around. So much zany fun. We laugh and giggle as we separate ourselves from the world for just a moment. Remember what it was like to be six, perhaps ten. Take the family to the park and remember these days of long ago. Happiness is a count away. Tag y

When snowbirds are here you can't really get into classes ( most are great) unless you set alarms for yourself and sign up a couple of days ahead. The place skews older and I although there are high school kids there in the afternoons it's not age diverse. Plus side is it's very forgiving and a great place to start weight lifting and more. There are paid programs for that and I think that would be worth it. I belong to a few other places so it's not a problem. I really like yin yoga there and trx . If this is going to be your main place you will be frustrated.

I discovered the Tucson Jewish Community Center after they hosted the Hot Cocoa Run 5K (hands down one of the funnest, most vendor-packed races I've ever done ), and let me tell you--walking into the JCC feels like stepping into a whole other world. This place is HUGE and has everything. They gifted a week pass in our swag bags from 5k and I fully leaned in--and I'm so glad I did. First off, the community + programming here is next level. I got to participate in pottery and ceramics classes (SO fun and surprisingly legit), and I love that they partner with local creatives and groups. It gives the whole place a collab, community-driven feel that I'm always looking for. On the fitness side--they're not playing around. I took multiple classes, and their cycle class (aka performance ride ) was actually really solid. Great energy, great programming. I also hit a strength-based class that delivered, and the gym floor itself is super clean, spacious, and not overcrowded (major win). The crowd is also refreshingly diverse in age, which I loved--it truly feels inclusive. And can we talk about the Cafe at the J... because YES. Tons of vegan options , actually flavorful, and super affordable. Not your typical "gym cafe" situation at all. Beyond that, this place is basically a mini campus--tennis, pools, art spaces, events, rentals, and even traditional Jewish baked goods (fresh bread, hello ). They also host a TON of events--like so many it's hard to keep up--so definitely check their calendar because there's always something happening. Overall, I'd absolutely go back. Whether you're going for fitness, arts, community events, or just to explore something new in Tucson--this place is a whole experience.

I only came as a guest, which for a day is only $5 (so reasonable), you just need to know a member here. It's so clean and nice. Not the biggest gym, but also not crowded so no trouble getting on a machine, and might I add, the machines are high tech and so cool. Great tv to watch with so many channels. Then you go outside and it's amazing. Huge pool and lap pool that is not crowded at all. Tennis courts, basketball, golf, grilled and cafe area. Definitely a place I would belong to if I lived here full time. I highly suggest. Also, they give you water bottles and have towels in all their machines. Love it!
