Awful. I have never dealt with anything like this in my life. As others have said Saddle Mountain's service is NOT reliable and customer service is laughable. Today is yet another Sunday that we will be without service. However, you can bet your bottom dollar they will get their monthly fee straight out of our bank account at 12:01 am the day it's due. Awful customer service. They claim they send their paper statements out on the 1st but if the 1st is on a weekend they send it the next business day. But somehow it always takes 10 days for their statements to go from Matawa to Moses lake. That gives me 5 days to get it back to them. If I send it as soon as I get it. BUT "it is not their fault that service" gets turned off because the payments are late due to their statements taking so long to get to me. read more

We rarely get the 5Mbps we pay for. During peak hours you can't load your email, let alone stream anything. We paid additional money to upgrade our hardware, but it's obvious that the company hasn't done the same for themselves. read more

Consistently fails to provide internet speeds anywhere near what they advertise and charge for. Frequent service outages. Until recently, SMW was run out of the back of a laundromat in Mattawa and with the shoddy service they provide, that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. read more

Do not pay for their "service". I have used them for years, and the only reason why is because they are the ONLY ISP available to me. We are paying $50 for UP TO 5 Mbps, but at midnight, when nobody is on, I get lucky if i hit 500 Kbps. I've lived with this for awhile, but decided to call and see if this was normal. They decided that we should test it with some weird internet test that always over exaggerates your speeds. After talking with them for awhile, they decided that "oh, it must be your router." As soon as they said this, I glanced down at 3 other routers, not including our current one, we have gotten in the past 1-2 years. Would it kill them to say "let me check to see if I can do anything on my end." Then the guy said "well, when your internet is slow, check your Ethernet speed compared to your direct speed (skipping router) and then let us know. It's not like it suddenly dropped down, it's always this slow! If you can get ANY other provider, go with them, so you can avoid this mess. read more

I have had this service for years...it was better before they upgraded all there equipment a few years back...back then it was symmetrical...even though the last I checked their site still claims there service is symmetrical, However it is not and they have told me that is a limitation of the new equipment, it can not do symmetrical service...upload is always restricted so that limits use of VOIP or servers in most cases due to also having high packet loss most of the time...like many have said they do not get how to do customer service...this has not gotten any better...if there is an outage no one will answer the phone...its very frustrating because up till now if you were not in town out in our area it was the only choice to get broadband other than satellite which again is like 3 Mbs upload speed and in daily use can be even less....however now Desert Winds Wireless is also a choice in the area...and I am seriously considering a change in service at this point after the latest 2 day outage with no one answering the phone...any wireless internet is going to have issues at times or your location could be difficult to service with high packet loss or whatever but not caring about your customers new or old, enough to answer the phone is just Rude. read more
