A visit to their website confirms this - they offer an art consultation service which promises advice on what art work to acquire for your home or workplace, which given the photographs seems to depend on what shade of wallpaper you own. I'm sorry to sound sniffy but this really isn't my cup of tea - and this is from someone who rather likes L'enfant prints (we're back to my time at Athena again) and the odd Monet. Still, its a nice enough place to spend a few minutes and if you find yourself left stranded by the 22 bus and without an umbrella its definitely worth a look.

I mainly see Mikes work and his attention to detail is amazing, if you pop in request a selection of his work to look at and see what i mean. Birmingham has more than it's fair share of tattooists with big media profiles. It also has a good…read moreselection of lesser known tattooists quietly churning out excellent work, week in, week out. Spider is one of those in the latter category. I don't have any work from Spider myself but I know plenty of people who have. I have also watched him tattoo. The work he does is of a high quality - I've seen great script he has produced as well as ultra smooth black and grey work and photorealism . Prices are cheap for the quality of work, and he is good with his customers, an important quality when you are practising an art as intimate as tattooing. If you're looking for ink you could a hel of a lot worse than going to Spider, but be warned - he is usually booked up quite a while in advance, so a spur of the moment tattoo might not be possible.
