Instead of offering understanding, he was very cold. he told me, "Don't come in here with the tears," and "I don't think I can help you." He also mentioned his own family problems during the consultation and said the case could cost thousands of dollars without giving me a clear answer. When I asked for clarification, he cut me off with "Stop it." I left the office feeling hurt, confused, and unsupported. I understand that lawyers are busy and may face their own challenges, but clients deserve respect, empathy, and clear communication, especially when they are going through a stressful legal matter. It was one of the most discouraging and cold experiences I've had while seeking legal help. Needless to say he told me he'd get back to me and I haven't heard anything from him yet!
