Hands down some of the best dipping sauce your fries will ever meet! The burgers are great and the katsu burger is on point, but the crack sauce - I have dreams of the crack sauce. Sooooo delicious! I think hubby is going to be picking up Fukuburger on his way home!

My office brought them over for lunch and I order the #3, buda, pronounced Buddha, not buttah.. I butchered the name big time, so you can use that tip- apparently it means pork, & although I'm not a huge pork eater, i didn't even care because I was so excited for the pickled ginger on top.. Anyways burger was fire! Flavor profiles on point.. so juicy! I didn't put the burger down. I ordered regular fries but somehow ended up with the jazz fries- worth the calories! Try them! All of my coworkers finished their meals quickly, so it safe to say this food truck was a hit. Also want to point out the staff was friendly ! Orders served quick, I was surprised actually how well they managed our line of constant orders coming in... and lastly, the food truck was staffed efficiently, with a fa couple cooks on board, and sweet gal taking orders outside the truck, & and What seemed to be a manager of some sort , outside the truck just smiling and making sure everything was running smooth. All good vibes . If you're reading this, try them out! A great experience - Thanks Fukuburger truck team!!

I came across the Hot Mess food truck at the Tuff n Nuff MMA event at the South Point Hotel and…read moreCasino in July and was pleasantly surprised by the quality anf frsh taste of the food. At first I was hesitant to choose this truck as everyone else seemed to be going to some of the other trucks in the food court area. However the small (six items) had a few different choices that sounded good to me so I took the leap and was glad I did. The menu has a little Chinese, a bit of Mexican, some American and most items are a fusion of all three. Simone opted for the Thai Chicken Skewers, with Peanut Sauce and Spicy Cucumber Salad. While this was fairly basic it was also very good in its simplicity. Juicy marinated grilled thigh meat with mild peanut sauce. The cucumber salad was not overly hot but had just enough of a vinegary red pepper spicy kick. I ordered a Spicy Chino Burrito ( is it okay to say Chino?) A large grilled flour tortilla was stuffed generously with fired popcorn chicken, Chinese fried rice and a lightly sweetened orange soy glaze. Although the chicken was of the frozen variety it was perfectly crispy and the fried rice was loaded with veggies and egg and not over flavored with soy sauce as you may find in some of your more local Chinese places. To finish off the meal we had the very American Deep Fried Oreo, done perfectly with Tempura Batter. These were not at all greasy and the Oreo on the inside were still had a bit of that cookie crunch. They came in an order of three but they were so good we doubled up the order and got six. They were the perfect indulgence. I would suggest the Hot Mess if you are able to find it in Vegas. 4 stars.

Open…read morefrom 6PM to 11PM, the lines were long, anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour wait to get in. Admission was free when you signed up in advance on Eventbrite. Once inside, booths and plenty of food trucks awaited. There were about 20 different setups ranging from teas, dessert, hot dogs, sushi, ramen, noodles and more. Most lines went quick and the grub was served up fresh and hot, or cold if you chose meet fresh or fluff ice. The fam and I went this year so was easy for us to sample about 7 different foods from multiple booths / trucks. Tables to enjoy your food were available at each end and the entrance. It was a beautiful evening as the weather was in the 70-80's, perfect for an evening of sampling local hot spots and food trucks. Tip: Have each person stand in a separate line to maximize what you can order and share the food as it is served. Will be back next year to experience it again!

In just its second year, I missed the inaugural Las Vegas Asian Night Market as I was back home in…read moreHawaii at this time last year. Reading the reviews, it doesn't seem like I missed much, but after reading this review (for those who didn't attend last night's festivities) y'all didn't miss much, as there was so much more to be desired and so much more to still be improved upon. It also didn't help the fact that We recently came back from attending the Gold standard of night markets in North America, The Richmond Night Market in Canada which has been around since 2000, boasting over 100 food vendors and over 200 market vendors in an open, 18-acre lot, various games, exhibits, and a main event stage that caters to the 1 MILLION attendees every year. Back to our "night market", the overall vibe felt like a very poorly thought out block party. For the 10,000 people who attended last night, here's some highs and lows of the festivities in my eyes: Highs: 10,000+ in attendance means that there's a demand for events like this Great effort to the people responsible for putting this together . Now the Lows/Points of improvement: BIGGER, OPEN LOT With attendance guaranteed to grow next year, a bigger open area is SUPER necessary. A blocked off street section with lines snaking every which way and people going against the grain saying "excuse me" every second was chaotic! LIGHTS/SIGNAGE/LOUNGING The street lights were the primary source of light for the event which made for a blah, dimly lit venue, the lounging areas that I saw were just tables and chairs at either side of the street, kinda like an afterthought. Some food vendors' signage was non existent or not very visible, again to a poorly lit venue. Better lighting is another necessity! MORE VENDORS Drop "Asian", rename it 702 or Las Vegas Night Market, and reach out to chefs, restaurants, food and non-food vendors, etc. After all, aren't we considered a culinary destination? There's seriously no shortage of food choices here. Maybe this way, it'll alleviate the long lines, offer more food choices, and lessen the possibilities of food vendors running out of food(Fukuburger ran out at 8:30pm)/drinks ,gives people the opportunity to browse, shop, and possibly come back for more food. AREN'T WE A CITY KNOWN FOR ARTS/ ENTERTAINMENT? There's also no shortage of singers, dancers, acrobats, magicians, comedians, cooking schools, martial arts schools, etc. in Vegas!? TAKE A PAGE FROM THE RICHMOND NIGHT MARKET Check out my review/pictures! Go on their website and check out all the YouTube videos....It's a well thought out night market...Scrap the VIP Package and offer an Express Zoom Pass to allow Zoom Pass Holders early entrance before General admission attendees. More people are guaranteed to purchase this for sure. Extend dates to possibly multiple weekends in a month instead of just one day each year? (Maybe mid-September through the month of October) Richmond Night Market was every weekend(Fri, Sat, Sun) from May 10 through October 14, from 7pm to 11pm and the place was packed start to finish! TAP INTO OUR LOCAL ARTISTS Maybe think of a theme, and make it more inviting! A little splash of color and maybe some cool installations to give the venue life! Color does wonders! Remember, these two stars are MY EXPERIENCE, so take it with a grain of salt, learn and evolve from it, and don't taze me, don't @ me, or message me with any form of negativity. Believe you me, I really want this thing to stick around, because our community could really use an event like this after working out the kinks. ALOHA!!! SHAKA METER: \uuu/ \uuu/ 2(with a huge margin for improvement)

Do bring your dog a bowl and water tho as none are provided. I couldn't see any main entrance or check in stand among the many tents that were set up so it was a bit unorganized and confusing in the beginning so I circled around the entire event until I came upon a tent that didn't seem to be serving any beer and inquired. That's where I checked in and it appears to be sponsored by Wellsfargo bank. The staffs were friendly enough but again did not explain to me any details or how it works so I put my little souvenir cups with the wristband (which appears to be a decor ribbon) inside in my car and proceeded to the first tent. At the first tent I looked at their beverages and asked for a sample and the staff asked me where's my wristband and cup? I said oh! I left it in my car since I didn't know that was my wristband and cup lol So I went back to my car and got them. Another walk, another wasted time but this is where the fun begins... From there it was drinks after drinks after drinks being poured into my 1 mini glasses. Everyone were friendly and eager to pour you a sample so pick and choose carefully otherwise you'll get tipsy really fast! There were no food provided except at the food truck that cost and a cookie stand that also cost. I did see several people walking around with their pretzel necklace including a cute dog wearing one Some of my top beers, hard cider, Lager, Ale or Pilsner were the mango flavored hard cider from Blake's, The pink poison from Nasty Beast. Oh you also get 2-3 plastic coins that you can drop in the vendors container for your picks and the vendors with the most coins wins the votes. How exciting right?? That contest made it more fun! I made friends with strangers and I had my dog, Peanut with me whom friendly strangers asked to pet. There were games to play also, including bean bags toss, the hammer game, ring toss game (cost but proceeds goes to charity) There were so many awesome beer and vendors to name but Lovelady Brewing co, Blake's, Nasty Beast, North 5th Brewing Co, Lazy Dogs, the Original Club Tails, 21Rocs, RoseAde, Silver Reef Brewing co, Nutrl, among many others. It was so much fun!! So much to do and see and sample! I was slurp slurping away and getting tipsy as I go lol. Oh there are a dump and rinse stations set up randomly so you can pour out your beer and rinse out the extras which was really helpful. I can't wait to attend their event next year. Thank you New Vista Beer Festival and Yelp for making this happen!

Drinks, sunshine, and entertainment....what more can one ask for? :) Unlimited tastings for four hours is a great deal for this event and such a fun way to try new drinks. Also a dangerous way to get tipsy if you don't pace yourself and hydrate along the way! LOL There were water stations to rinse your tasting cup, but not water stations to drink from so I recommend bring your own water to stay hydrated at this event. In addition to beer, the event also had a lot of seltzer/canned alcohol drinks. There were even a few vodka cocktails in a can to try. There were so many awesome alcoholic drinks and vendors and the offerings exceeded my expectations. Every tent was excited to pour you a sample (or a sample of everything they had) and the energy was great and for a great cause. Everyone we encountered vendor wise/volunteer at this event was super friendly and made the event such a chill atmosphere. Some even had some cute swag to hand out like the lemonade seltzer tattoos. The main entrance or check in stand was a little bit unorganized/there was not a clear sign and there was a bit of a wait, but it is a volunteer charity event so it was to be expected. I loved how they had a few large screens up to watch the games on as well as some games to play. Seating was limited/practically non-existent but you are moving around so much that you don't even notice it. But if you care about that, I recommend bringing your own chairs or a blanket to sit on. For the price of this event and how much fun it was I definitely want to come back again :) Tell your friends everyone... this is an event you don't want to miss!
