Located on the corner of the main street, Avenida Larrain, this true Peruvian picada is the star of the barrio. In less than a year of opening, they have made a name for themselves, as they offer a traditional "criollo" taste with large servings and decent prices.
The restaurant is simple, tiny and clean but what they lack in "ambiance" they make up for in taste.
They have daily lunch specials for 3,500 it includes a juice or soda, soup, main dish and dessert! This is a great price - especially for all of the workers in the area.
I wouldn't limit myself to just their lunch specials, they have a delicious lomo-salteado with big cuts of steak and vegetables (unlike many other peruvian restaurantes).
The waiters and owners are always attentive and if you need to make a minor change to a dish (for example vegetables instead of steak) they are very accommodating.
This is not a restaurant to take a date you want to impress or have an important business meeting, but the authentic Peruvian dishes won't let you down. read more
