Do yourself a favor. If you're traveling from out of country, stay far away. First, our room was extremely unclean. We had been traveling for weeks in Europe. We stayed at everything from 4 star hotels to hostels. We booked this through our credit card rewards thinking it would be a great deal. It was anything but that.
The room had a weird stench to it, the bathroom was grimey, it felt like someone just showered there and didn't bother to clean.
To top that off, the service was deplorable. I speak a fair amount of French, but got a very "i'm better than you" snootiness from the staff. They were not helpful when we asked for local things to do. They always seemed like they had better things to do, like, we're the only ones standing in front of you. What the heck.
It was a bad way to end our trip. read more
