During a book festival event, I also took a fun cooking demo and were impressed by the facilities. It's nice to have a college campus in the heard of downtown and engaging with the community. Today, i tried to go again and went in with jeans because i had just got out of class and wanted to work on my upper body just for a bit until my other class started. I got in and got a locker and nobody but the black bald guy notices that i have jeans on and says that I cannot work out with jeans. This frustrated me because why are you always looking at me when im trying to workout? Honestly, I think he has a problem with me because he's always looking at me and makes me feel uncomfortable. He's a weird guy bro. And obviously if you guys were to hang the sign up people would totally look at the sign and acknowledge it but no the sign is down and nobody is going to look down. Make it make sense badly.

This school is quick to take your money and even faster to treat you as if YOU are the one PRIVILEGED with going there. They don't invest the grant money they receive back into the programs, the faculty will protect its staff before the interest of its student, they will blatantly lie to you in order to diminish your rights as a student. If you are pursing a masters degree only come here to get a high enough GPA to transfer. They will take your money, sanity, and in my case my degree if you are not willing to sacrifice your rights and self respect as a student to fall in line. STAY AWAY FROM BARRY UNIVERSITY.

Everone on campus was warm and helpful. The security gaurd took the time to direct me to the building I needed across campus. I decided to walk instead of moving my car and I'm glad that I did. I enjoyed following the sidewalks to the large open courtyard where the chapel, admissions, and other buildings are located. It seems that Barry does not have that great of a ranking. I'm not sure why that is. If someone were looking for a small campus with low student population, Barry would be a good choice. I was just here to drop something off but would come back to attend an event as the campus is lovely.

Thank you to all the staff, especially the student services director Carmen Perez-Padron, for being available to answer all my questions! I highly recommend Keiser University Miami campus.

This school needs to be investigated immediately. Keiser University already has MULTIPLE lawsuits…read morefiled against them for MANY reasons. All you have to do is google it. SAVE YOUR MONEY & GO TO A BETTER SCHOOL because I wish I did! I actually made it to the very end of the Radiology program until the director of the program Marilyn Galvez aka "MG" and the physics professor Arnaldo Viana aka "Profe" both came together to purposely fail me TWICE. And it's $4-5k per class. When you fail, you also have to pay a $150 fee to re-enter. (How convenient.) Additionally, Profe demonstrated clear favoritism towards certain students, providing them with answers to quizzes and exams while excluding me and another student from these advantages. This behavior not only breaches the ethical standards expected of an educational institution but has also contributed to my academic failure. 'Profe' has a history of 18+ years of purposely failing students just because he can. Sometimes he'll show the answers in class if his least favorite students aren't around with the classroom door locked or they'll meet up after school or get together on a zoom call. That's not even all of it either. He's expressed to me on a few occasions he's been getting away with failing students for almost 20 years and how "they won't be getting rid of him because who else are they going to hire to teach Physics 1-3" this was said by Profe himself. I think this was his way of warning me that he had no intentions of passing me. I should've known! I went to the graduation ceremony and all.. which is funny that they seated the 2 students who failed the last class in the back row (because this was planned) and the other 7 students they knew they were going to pass in the front row. Keiser posted our graduation photo at the pinning ceremony with me & another student who was failed on social media to promote our class got a "100% passing rate.." FALSE ADVERTISING. They didn't mention they failed 2 of us in the caption though! They also have their employees and other students on campus write a 5 star review for them on Google to help boost their ratings because they're just so bad. MG is another story. I'm also not the first student that has had this experience within this school and I certainly won't be the last. MG has also intentionally failed students, including myself, and retaliated against those who voice concerns. Just ask Group 58! Her treatment of students appears to depend on personal favoritism rather than academic performance or professionalism. When I raised concerns about these unfair practices, I experienced direct retaliation, making it impossible for me to succeed in the program. Oh and don't go to Homestead Hospital for your clinicals!! That's another story itself! Unfortunately, I have lost all interest in pursing Radiology or any job in healthcare. Now I'm stuck with $50k student loan debt and no degree/ certification or license to show for it. Luckily, I already have a bachelors degree from a high reputable university, where I experienced none of this. Mind you, I was always a very quiet and respectful student to everybody on campus. Maybe since I'm quiet and stayed to myself, they thought I'd be an easy target. It's very obvious this school is solely based to run students' pockets dry to fill up theirs. Especially lower income families. And they will not care while doing it. And the staff is all in on it! I wouldn't be surprised if the staff receives incentives for failing students hoping they'd come back and give them more money. Keiser University's administration needs to be investigated by the Department of Education once AGAIN. Appropriate action needs to occur to ensure that future students are not subjected to the same treatment. The school has had a horrible reputation for decades! They're just trying to be more sneakier about it nowadays. It's 2025 and they're still doing students dirty. Nothing has changed! There is SO much to my story this isn't even half of it. Sad. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL.

The campus beautifully integrates lush greenery, open water views, and shaded walkways, creating an environment that feels both energizing and peaceful at the same time. What makes the experience especially unique is the architectural diversity. The blend of Art Deco influences, Brutalist structures, and modern design elements creates a refreshing visual rhythm throughout the campus. Each building feels intentionally placed, elegantly portrayed, and connected to its surroundings, allowing nature to become part of the design rather than simply a backdrop. A highlight of the visit is the Lowe Art Museum, which encompasses a thoughtfully curated selection of both modern and historical works. The collection feels balanced and accessible, allowing visitors to move naturally between different artistic periods and styles while maintaining a cohesive narrative. The best way to experience the University of Miami and the Lowe Art Museum is by walking the grounds on a fresh Miami day. The gentle breeze, filtered sunlight through the palms, and harmonious architecture make the visit feel less like a tour and more like a relaxing cultural escape. Ps. Easy access from the Metro Rail UM station... The result is an inspiring setting where academic life and aesthetic beauty coexist effortlessly, encouraging visitors to slow down and truly appreciate the space.

The college adopted the nickname Hurricanes in memory of the devastating 1926 storm that hit the area just as the university opened. After the land boom bust the college struggled but it experienced significant growth after WWII. Their football program boosted them to national prominence leading to academic expansion. and they celebrated their 100 year anniversary last year. The University of Miami spans 240 acres on the main Coral Gables campus. It has a strong albeit expensive academic program including a medical school. Their colors are orange, green, and white representing Florida's citrus industry. The mascot is Sebastian the Ibis. The campus is park like with large trees, the man made Osceola lake from the 1940's in the center, and 1920's architecture with the oolite limestone Coral Gables is known for. I have visited the Lowe's Art Museum on campus and the Gifford Arboretum in the past and most recently I came for the Beaux arts Festival now in it's 75th year. Now could not be a better time to visit since UM is in the College Football Playoff National Championship against the Indiana Hoosiers. They have won five football championships since 1983 and we are hoping for number six.
