This business is unprofessional and I would not ever recommend. Tried to hire them for a job and not only did the owner make appointments that he did not keep, he was nasty, verbally attacked me and declined the job because I confronted him when he missed appointments. I wanted to be assured that the company I give my money to showed up and called when they say they would and when I expressed my concern-the owner stated that he had a lot of personal calls he had to attend to and then stated he did not want my business. He is rude, nprofessional and does not put the customer first. Beware read more

With their leaf blower, threw water and mud up through the screens and windows by hitting the bird bath. Walked through the garden and broke flowers as well as with the leaf blower broke items in the garden. Never shoveled the 3 feet sbow off my porch. Management never fixed the problems. Snow for example sat there for 3 days. Bush in garden over grew because they never trimmed it. Bad. read more

We contracted Danny for our pavers. Very sloppy work. Had his team work in the dark to wrap up a job that requires precision to ensure bricks were properly aligned and symmetrical. The stones are uneven, have inconsistent gaps, and are not level. The polymeric sand he used between the bricks had huge gaps and was left to dry on top of the paver stones. I had to chase him for weeks. He was incredibly rude to me on the phone and told me to lose his number. I strongly discourage anyone from using his company. read more

Damaged property and when confronted he cursed me off, yelled and called me names. The most unprofessional company that I ever dealt with. That person yelling me is an owner. read more

Seems to be a common trend reading through the reviews! Sabba's Landscaping should stick to mowing lawns. They did a terrible job with our patio stairs. The stairs are literally crumbling and Dan has refused to come fix them! His mom and sister block my calls and curse me out when I call from unknown numbers. The worst customer service I've ever received in my life. I will continue to warn everybody in Howell not to use them u til they come and fix my stairs. It is a serious safety hazard for my family and I. Beware!!!!! read more

I have never been treated this way by any business or entity in my entire life. The fact of the matter is, Sabba's Landscaping broke our fence. I don't care if it's old or in disrepair. If you bust the latch and you bust the slat, you fix it. And even if you are not willing to do that, you LISTEN to your CUSTOMER when they tell you they were willing to pay, above and beyond what they should be after this aggravation, to work with you to replace this gate. I was willing to do this. To pay for a new fence. To have Sabba's Landscaping do this because I know they also do fencing. Even after all the aggravation. I was willing to pay MORE and they don't want our business. Instead, I was attacked the minute they called me (after many days of back and forth waiting to be contacted about this). Yelling at me about this gate. Telling me it's my fault, the list goes on. Completely outrageous and unacceptable way to treat a FAMILY that helps Sabba's Landscaping sustain their business. I hired Sabba's Landscaping to save myself and my family the aggravation of mowing the lawn all summer. I've got two little kids so my time is precious and valuable. Sabba's Landscaping has done nothing but cause MORE aggravation, MORE loss of time, and on top of it, I'm paying for this aggravation in the cost of lawn maintenance AND now having to replace a gate on top of it. If you want to pay to have your lawn mowed and get free aggravation and a busted fence that you will be responsible for fixing and paying for entirely on your own, hire Sabba's Landscaping, they're having a 2 for 1 deal! read more

I used them years ago. Their lawn service was okay but I had them do some landscaping and their work was very poor. When I brought it to the attention of the owner he refused to admit that there was anything wrong. I had already paid and had no recourse. Buyer beware! read more

Danny And his guys did the most amazing job on my patio and landscape! Best landscaper in Monmouth and Ocean County.. I wouldn't use anyone else! read more

Only used them for lawn service. They did not send bills, just reminders through email when you were late. So, if I was late and paid after a Thursday, my lawn did not get cut that week. This year I paid the beginning of April and they did not cut my lawn until 4/20. They were then at my house three more times. They pushed a ride on mower through my fence to cut my backyard that is mostly pool and deck and then used a weed wacker to cut the largest section of grass in the yard. They cut a chunk of wood out of the leg of my swingset and ripped a piece of siding from the bottom of my house. The clippings were blown onto the deck and the front porch. I decided to stop using them before I opened the pool. They sent me a late notice and I said I was canceling. Toni in customer service said I still owed for two cuts. The one I did not get the week in April they said they were starting and never came to my house and the one after I stopped paying. I told her I refused to pay for cuts I did not receive and she sent it to a collection agency and now somehow the total went from $59 to$138. Terrible customer service and terrible employees for lawn care. Speaking with parents from my son's baseball and football teams, I am hearing they are also not happy with them. read more

Refinished our porch and looks horrible- 2 years later...never came back to fix...DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Re-read my review: At the time I requested the estimate for aeration ONLY, your sales rep quoted an estimated that included recommended service I never requested. I contact you and declined the seeding and aeration package, and specifically requested someone contact me to schedule the services I did request as well as dicuss pricing. I expected a phone call! I did not receive one in over a week and had to call again a week later and still recieved no reply from the individual who was supposed to reach out to me. This was the expecatation that was set forth by your CS rep. From there the job was completed on 10/7/14 but again it had never been scheduled and I never received the call I was promised to discuss services, pricing and scheduling prior to job being done. Since the job was done regardless I made the payment for the services on 11/4 despite never receiving the call. The review was based on the poor CS experience and receiving work done that I never received clarity on pricing for prior to the job being done. . read more

The worst company ever....do not use them!!! We just to moved to Howell...called them for an estimate and to price out weekly lawn service. Dan came out, seemed like a very nice guy...explained that it was a family owned business. We walked the entire property back front and sides to get a cleanup estimate. That night he emailed us with an estimate for entire cleanup, for fertilization and for lawn service. We agreed to the lawn service and paid for the entire year so we could get the 5% discount. A week later after my husband and I decided we agreed to the cleanup as well. We had to pay for the cleanup after it was done. The cleanup was done about a month after Dan gave us the estimate. The cleanup was only done in the front of the house and sides. Noone came into the back to do anything. However we were invoiced for the entire $360. At the point we were not fully moved into the house so we noticed it about 4 days after it was done. At that point I called the "office" which was the Thursday before Memorial Day...I explained to Toni (worst secretary ever) my issue...she told me the invoice clearly stated that it was for the front and side only...I understand that but the only price I got for cleanup was for the entire property... She told me they were busy because of Memorial Day, which I totally understand and she would get back to me. By the next Wednesday I did not hear back, so I sent and email stating my issue. I offered to pay $250 for the side and front. An hour later I got an apology and they accepted $250, in which I promptly paid. Toni called my husband a day later and was very upset, kind of stating we went over her head with the email and we were wrong. The Best Is Get This ....today 6/8/2016...we get an email from the them refunding us $643....and they told us they will no longer be servicing our property!! Who in the world runs a business like this?? I paid them until October to mow my lawn and they don't want my business?? Obviously they have some issues within themselves that they need to work out. They are horrible and have no work etiquette... Who does something like this!! I have never written a review, this is my first review on anything...I was speechless and could not believe it. Disgusted with them especially the nasty Toni, who I was clearly interrupting her morning talk shows when I called! I will complain to BBB about them...they are always quick to respond! read more

Absolutely refused to return for a new estimate. I wanted additional work done and was told Dan did not want to return since he had already been here. That is rude and uncaring as a supposedly landscape professional.I would never hire them! read more

wo years ago we hired Sabba's landscaping and they were wonderful. This year I hired them near the end of winter to come out and complete a yard clean up, including putting down pre-emergent. Granted we had an unusually long and cold winter but Sabba's wanted to come out in early May when it was still 30 degrees out. There is no way pre-emergent would even work in those conditions. We agreed (per contract) that they would come out instead after the ground warmed. May came and went, then June. We contacted them numerous times and they never returned calls. Finally, they sent us an email saying that they could not come out anymore as they were understaffed and too busy suggested we hire someone else. It is now July and I just finally found someone else to come out. Because the yard has gone so long without tending, the estimate to clean up the yard is through the roof! Plus, he is not sure he can complete the job before my daughter's graduation party. Please do not use this company. Any company who does not honor their contacts should be ashamed. read more
