I went here the first night of my stay in Halle. It is located along the river, not far from the…read moreAnkerhof hotel. The positives are good food and good beer. Really enjoyed my meal: the special of the day was chicken and pasta. The negatives are a menu only in German, although I think our waiter spoke English. We choose our beer from list on the blackboard and since I don't know German I cannot say how extensive the beer selection is in the menu. But the summer selection was excellent. It was hot the day we were there but this place is perfect for sitting outside and watching the river go by. People will smoke outside, so be forewarned.
