There's like one food vendor truck or maybe two outside and the promoters for events and after party events are all out in force. And they are still all arriving by force from the nearby bahn. The night I went was for the Nick Minaj and Trey Songz concert. Tickets were going for a good price so why not. Beware of scalpers. Taxi hustlers and pick pockets in the crowd. The mix of people were good, more teenagers, of course but also adults. All nationalities were present. Big enough venue to handle it all. It's not the most modern up to date venue but it's up kept and good for a concert, music event or show. The dome like architecture inside is a nice design the way they have those beams laid out. Being someone in the front and middle border, the televisions gave a good view of the performance but I would say from the back, the television is all you're seeing with doll like figures. If you love to shop, the Zeil Straße is the place to be!!…read more You can find literally anything: From brand name stores, smaller local shops, and much more. The architecture is also amazing. Charming old world style buildings blending in with modern high rises. What I loved is that you can also find plenty of cafés, German bakeries and restaurants on the Zeil to take a break. The Zeil is not only pedestrian-only, where you can stroll safely and really enjoy the experience, it is also in walking distance from the Hauptbahnhof (Train Station)

All around you are shops and shops and more shops. It is not as expensive as Goethestrasse but still it has some very good shops. Be warned it is crowded during each time of the day. Especially on the weekends it is hard to walk, biking is virtually impossible although some extreme sport fans might actually enjoy it. During the weekends and the evening there are also many street musicians and artists so it is quite cool to go there and listen to music and watch the crowd go by.

The name reflects the staging a major air show featuring early airships in the early 1900s, and there's a memorial to the event by the entrance. The building itself is something of a shed from the outside, and is not going to win any architectural prizes. Similarly, although the main room is light and airy, with brewing kettles forming a feature in the centre, it's not terribly atmospheric. But at least it isn't trying to be something it isn't - it's a new brew-pub, and it's honest about it. In that, it rather reminded me of brew-pubs I've visited in the USA. The pub generates its own power using rapeseed oil grown on the farm, as well as providing its own barley for the brewing process. The site also provides brewery tours and seminars for those keen to learn more about beer. As you'd expect, the main attraction is the beer itself: draught beers include: Kronenhof hell (pale) and dunkel (dark), together with seasonal brews. On our visit, this was the interesting Quattro-Bier, made from 4 different grains. The beers are a more expensive than regular brews elsewhere, but then you're paying for a craft product: the Quattro beer was EUR3.60 for a 0.5l measure, and Dunkel EUR3.40. The pub has an extensive food menu, and it was very busy on the lunchtime that we visited. Food includes regional specialities such as cherry goulash and dishes served with a 'green sauce' of five different green herbs, as well as the more familiar German pork and sausage choices, and a good vegetarian selection. A full lunch for three of us, including five beers and a tip, came to a reasonable EUR45. Service was helpful, friendly and very efficient, despite them being busy. It's a good 15-20 minute walk to the pub from the S-bahn station, or a shortish taxi ride. There is plenty of parking available, if you can persuade someone to drive
