But as of today I have called six times and either got the answering service or a lady that was frustrated and said that she couldn't do it until my new insurance becomes active. Which it was scheduled to become active in a few days and I had all of the account information. I don't know what to say. Doctor close in excellent doctor but I don't know how to get in for an appointment. The recording says go to the Athena health app and I did that and fortunately his name does not come up as one of the providers I can choose just send a message for an appointment to My favorite and best cardiologist, Dr Kuo.

They have miss coded my visits with the good doctor since 2022 as out of network instead of in network as a copay. As a result the out of net work charges I have an outrageous balance that I am unusable to pay as a retired person on a fixed income. Now the office staff refuse to allow me to see or speak with Dr. Gresham. I do not want another heart attack. The unfair practices of his staff are detrimental to my health!

At my second appointment, I waited for an extended period of time, well over an hour, but was not seen. I later received a detailed text from the doctor explaining an emergency, which I understand can happen. Recently, I attempted to return to Texas IPS and schedule an appointment with a different doctor, but was told this required office manager approval. It was difficult to get ahold of the office manager, as calls consistently went to voicemail. My request was ultimately denied because I was considered an "established patient" with the original provider, whom I saw only once. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. Dr. Yuen did not disappoint. She listened to my ongoing concerns, planned to meet with me regarding future health management, and most importantly, did not push services on me that I did not want. Front office staff did their best to move patients through and was very helpful. Parking can be tight in the lot in front of the building; check around the side for additional spots.
