Everything went well with the construction, until the first storm, when the carport completely blew away into my brothers backfield. By the time I knew about it and my brother sent me pictures, I went through the contract. I found out there are some issues because 39 mobile home anchors to hold the carport down had been paid for and were in the contract. However, when the building was destroyed and hanging upside down on the field, we found out that the mobile home anchors were not used, but rather asphalt anchors were used. They didn't have a chance in that storm. So I got involved and wrote the owner of Terwin a letter with pictures. I received a call back almost immediately from the new manager.(the company has since been sold.) Frank. While I was expecting a fight, the first thing Frank said to me was if it was their fault he would make it right. By the next day, Frank had gone out to my brother's property to see the mess. Within a few days, he had sent people out to clean up the field from all the metal pieces. And then they redesigned the carport and didn't charge my brother anything more to have it put back up. My brother has videos cameras around his house. So from Denver I was able to watch the construction of this new carport, which is stunning. We couldn't be happier with the way Frank has handled this and worked with us. At one point we were so angry and upset, but that's completely changed. I would suggest using this company for your carport needs. I would also suggest that somebody be there and watch when your structure is put up just to make sure that the installers did not grab the wrong pieces. Thank you, Frank. My experience with Winslows in Wills Point, TX has been nothing short of frustrating and…read moredisappointing. From the initial installation to ongoing issues with their product and customer service, this company has consistently failed to meet even basic expectations. Firstly, the quality of the building itself was far below what was promised and expected. It was evident that the construction was shoddy and parts were missing, which severely compromised the functionality and structural integrity of the building. Despite numerous attempts to reach out for resolution, Winslow's has repeatedly failed to take responsibility or provide adequate solutions. Moreover, their customer service is abysmal. The repair scheduling department is virtually non-responsive, often taking months to even acknowledge inquiries, let alone schedule repairs or replacements for the missing parts. This level of disregard for customer concerns is simply unacceptable. Adding insult to injury, the pricing of their products does not align with the quality and service provided. The exorbitant cost of their buildings does not reflect the poor craftsmanship or the complete lack of after-sales support. In conclusion, our interaction with Winslow's Metal Buildings has been a nightmare. They do not stand by their product, offer subpar quality for a premium price, and demonstrate a shocking level of ineptitude in customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere for a more reliable and reputable contractor.
