Even when another American at another table started literally yelling for his attention while he was serving us, he very patiently said he would be right there, finished with us, then attended them. Comprehensive menu including round sandwiches (which are huge), salads, pastas, and proteins. We ordered a sandwich and a pasta. The sandwich was fabulous. The pasta was really good, but oddly very salty. That is my only complaint- oddly salty pasta sauce. The prices are very high but I anticipate that in an airport. I even pointed to another table's bacon and explained I couldn't eat undercooked bacon. She said she understood. She brought me raw bacon. When I asked her to fix it, she and the cook laughed. He threw it back on the grill for a few seconds, then sent it right back. Still barely cooked. Mistakes happen. Mocking a customer for asking to have their food cooked properly is unacceptable. Now I understand why the restaurant was nearly empty. It isn't the food or the location--it's the rude, lazy staff. This place deserves employees who actually care about customers.

But if you aren't first there's risk of cross contamination. Plenty of seats with charging options. A/C is minimal so sit in the booth chairs: there's a vent by your feet. Only four stars because the bathroom is outside but the beer restaurant. And there isn't BA staff to help with a reservation.

They keep fruit and yogurt behind a glass case. You have to ask for those items. Plus, you have to ask for a glass of water. That's kept behind the counter, too. Bad chairs. They are worn and completely deflated. When you sit the arms of the chairs practically touch your shoulders because you are so low. When you log in to get WiFi access, a page asks you to fill out a survey BEFOREHAND. Of course that means that unless you have mobile data, you CAN'T fill it out. Luckily I did, and one of the questions was how WiFi access is. I can't make this up. First world problem, I know. They do make a mean Lavazza cappuccino though.

The price was reasonable, so I made my way in and found a comfy chair to sit in. The food selection was alright - it was fresh, but I missed some of the variety that I've found at other lounges. Seating was adequate and included an array of different seats (tables, easy chairs, working nooks). Showers were available (I don't take one), and bathrooms were clean. It's nice to relax pre-flight in a place that is not as hectic as the general concourse, and Plaza Premium was just the place to do so on our last trip.
