It's certainly one of the smaller stations, but I love that there's restaurants directly outside including smaller food stalls and a Kaisers supermarket. Makes getting around Berlin a cinch, even if you think you have no idea what you're doing!

And the station itself has also really nice architecture, it's a good place to make pictures. Inside the station, has coupe food stands (imbiss) around, when you are in hurry and hungry, you could always pick up some food here before you run into the train. This is also a cross station that you can change the line U1, U2 and U3. There are also bus stations around, that made it really convenient. But one thing has to mention, the timing of the trains between different line are really short, if you have to change here, then better hurry yourself a bit, otherwise you will miss it for sure. The station is not really big, but sure has it own history and uniqueness. It's also take people to one of the busier and nicer streets in Berlin. I like this station a lot. I am sure everyone who lives in Berlin has been to this station one way and others. If you are in Berlin for a short visit, don't miss this place.

On the side of the station, you can also find rainbow covered the wall. If you come here at night, when they light up the station, on the top of the station, there is rainbow there as well. If you interested at it, just walk around this district. There are many different great restaurants, cool bars and interesting shops around. Plus people are really friendly and nice here. It's quite nice place hang around. The station itself for me got a really strange design. Just like every stations, it has two entrances for each directions. But the entrances of this station be separated by a intersection, so if the passengers want to go to the other side of the entrance, they must walk through from inside, or wait for the traffic lights and cross the street. It will take some time, not so convenient when you are in hurry. This is the crossing station, which you can change between U1, U2, U3 and U4. But better hurry up, usually them all arrived in very similar time. If you missed it, no worries, just took 4-7 mins till the next train comes. There are bus stops around. Inside the station, this is also U-Bahn office there, if you get any questions or just lost your way, you can ask them for help. For me, what really interesting are the surrounding. There are lot of shops, supermarkets and restaurants around. It's surely this neighbour does lack of place to shop. Under the station, you can see lot ls of bikes parking here, somehow looks pretty cool and urban. The view on the platform is other thing I like, especially when they turn the lights on. The station didn't really cover by walls. So at the winter time, it could be really cool. The station doesn't have any info office, but other than that, it got what the station normally needs. If you want to go to the S-Bahnhof Schönhauser Allee, get out of the station first and go behind the mall, then you will find it.

hahaha awesome. Yes, I will rate another train station. Schönhauser Allee S-bahnhof is the pits!!…read more Way too many Prenzlauer Bergers running around. My advice to anyone upon finding out that this station is the closest to their destination is to consider switching to S-bahnhof Bellevue, perhaps. It's not at all close to Schönhauser Allee and chances are you'll spend a good €30 on a taxi getting back up to where you want to go, but the walk along the canal is quite scenic and it meets up with that lovely wrought-iron bridge. Especially beautiful in autumn with the leaves falling and that. Again, the main drawback to this station as an alternative to Schönhauser Allee would be its extremity from Prenzlauer Berg, but I suppose that's a decision you'll have to make, whether the trade off would be worth it.
