They have some very fun and unusual flavors of meat sticks. I had the black forest beef jerky recently. It is very flavorful but it is sliced very thin (abt 1mm when dry) with the grain and it's dried to low moisture content. You have to patiently tear off very thin long strips as it's too hard to bite through. It's also much saltier than it needs to be for jerky that's so well dried. It does not list the salt content but my assessment is 4% salt, which is too high. This is good stuff if you're sitting around in a quiet place and want to nibble on it slowly in a fishing hut or when hanging out on a summer night. Next time I am there, I will ask them if they could try a batch with it cut across the grain. It would make for a more tender bite and I think it would make the stuff fantastic. read more

Ate some beef sticks on the way home and almost chocked on the casing, very thick, made bacon the next morning and it shriveled up to about 1/3 of the size of uncooked. VERY POOR quality on these 2. Price hiking online, different than in store price! 3.Did not order pork steak, then I was lied to about it being a center cut pork chop! Do I have stupid on my forehead!!! (I have been buying ur meat packages for 17yrs, I should by now, know the difference between the two!!!) 4. How does 10lbs of roast = 7lbs of hamburger 5. Your hamburger was labeled by you = 15.97lbs according to ur labels. How does that equal 17lbs???? 6. Why should a customer have to argue with you to get their points acrossed??? For $189, maybe I just have to learn that I should be more careful where I spend my money!!!! After we brought the product back in the guy still insisted on arguing with us and pretty much throwing our thoughts right into the garbage . Just straight up horrible customer service and shit for products!!!! Great local meat market! Wonderful cuts of beef, pork, and lamb. Ground meats too and awesome BACON! Frequently have some steak on sale. Today it was his t-bones! But go for the brats! Fresh, homemade, and dozens of options! A few of our family's favorites are jalepeno, bleu cheese, honey bbq, buffalo bleu cheese, wild rice, and sauerkraut. The best local meat store! Many different types of brats. Our favorites are: chili cheese, buffalo blue cheese, s&s original, Philly cheesesteak. The tumbled ribeye steak is terrific and so is the regular ribeye. The filet mignon is extraordinary. Tons of beef jerky choices and they also sell local veggies when in season. We've never had anything bad from s&s meats. read more

WOW! Great local meat market. We have been a customer for years and never disappointed. The smoked turkeys are increcible for a party. The brat selection for summer is so huge its hard to decide! Fun to let the grandkids choose their own flavor. Ask to have your prime rib seasoned as it is amazing. And you get to see the owners Stan and Dawn working behind the counter. Got a tri tip here, this is a fantastic cut of meat and hard to find in many States/areas. Cooking low and slow is the best but not required this is a tender cut of meat.
