I wanted to sell my home as quickly as possible, and I knew that in order to do that, I would need…read moreto place the majority of my belongings in storage to properly stage my home and not have a cluttered house for showing. When looking for a storage unit, I considered these things: 1. Security 2. Proximity to my home 3. Price Above all else, Countryside Self Storage impressed me with its security of its units. Simply by visiting the office, you'll notice nine cameras are visible to the employee operating the desk (Paul Boles) on a monitor at all times. I appreciate knowing that my belongings are secured first by the premises being monitored by staff. Further, the fencing around the facility are tall, discouraging unauthorized individuals from entering. Finally, the facility is gated with a code that only tenants and staff have access to. I primarily chose my storage unit facility based on the security features, and Countryside Self Storage far outweighed the others I assessed. This particular storage facility was also close to my home, making trips back and forth incredibly easy for me! I also felt that the price of the unit I leased was more than reasonable: $49/mo. for a 5x10 unit. I am incredibly happy with this price, especially considering the extensive security of this storage facility. Finally, the customer service I received from Paul Boles was above and beyond. I was able to walk into the office and obtain a storage unit within thirty minutes--and Paul was more than professional, relatable, and simply enjoyable to talk to at all times. I would recommend Countryside Self Storage far beyond any other facility in Joplin, hands down.

I was moving from Joplin to NW Arkansas and needed items moved to a Joplin storage facility and my…read morenew place in NW AR. 5 Star Moving did great with the local move to the storage facility. 5 stars. The problems began with the move to AR. Four men showed up to pack up my stuff in Joplin. They underestimated the amount so had to wait for an additional trailer to pack most of the rest, this caused their truck to have issues climbing hills so it was over 2.5 hours to drive the 1.5 hour trip (I took a load in my truck too). For some reason, they decided to only send three men to unload! So after 12 hours they finally "finished" unloading. 5 Star did cap my rate at the maximum they estimated, but it could have been much less, I believe. The reason for the one star is that because of the delays and length of time for the three men unloading, they weren't able to reassembly the beds and furniture as they included in the estimate, and 50+% of my items are scratched, dented, missing parts, or broken! I would only use this company for local moves...nothing outside of the Joplin metro. Todd J

I just did the send to label and double checked it after he printed it out. It cost almost one third of what I had just expected to pay with the other.
