it was a great and informative tour. Love my purchases. It was a nice train ride from Praha.

Even if you are not into crystal, this huge shop should be visited. The entrance looks small, but…read morethe shop extends for almost a block. It is on the Old Town Square. The chandeliers are mouth-dropping. I was told by my guide the quality here was the best and the prices very reasonable. Part of my travels usually include purchasing a bracelet made of the local stones. In Czech that is garnet - not my favorite - but they had some lovely choices. Use your cc or Koruna. The Euro exchange rate is quite poor here.

They are all pretty much the same. Yet for some reason, if given the choice I will pick Cerny Most. Anyway, the staff are nice enough, always willing to find someone to help me, despite my lack of Czech. The cafe is also pretty good, but not as well set up as the one at C.M. But it is Ikea so what am I really complaining about.

She really made me feel welcome with her small talk. The items are unique and I was able to pick up some fabulous gifts. They shop does a good job of wrapping everything for airline transportation. I really appreciated that. Some places just wrap with some basic tissue paper but they actually use bubble wrap and tape everything up very well. I'll definitely return when come back to Prague.

The…read moresmell of second hand clothes is pretty strong here, but if you can stand it there are some good finds to be had. They have also a fitting room in the room to the left, and a good selection of men's clothing too. I also noticed a large selection of bathing suits and nighties at this place, unsure as to why, but hey I like these things but especially if they are brand new or like new for a cheap price. I noticed the price chart on the wall seems to work a lot like secondhand street market where they price things by item, and then weigh it for a final price. Like I said in my Secondhand street review, if you know how to shop like this, there is always a deal to be had. Lightweight clothing of any kind is the best deal in these places, think tank tops, leggings, light t shirts, layering long sleeve shirts, light summer dresses, bathing suits/camis without stones/buttons/belts, ect. I didn't actually buy anything here, but saw many things that I would be interested in buying if I had more time to look and try on. I will be back here as soon as I have some free time!
WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS AND FILM / CAMERA NEEDS ELSEWHERE!!!…read more Had such high expectations for this place and saying I was disappointed is an understatement. I had planned to get some film developed here and stopped by for the first time. The customer service was not only bad; it was somehow both nonexistent as well as downright rude. Czechs aren't known for great or even good customer service, but this was a whole other level. As soon as I walked in, the shop owner greeted me in Czech and I proceeded to reply in Czech (even though I'm not Czech). There were two other girls in the shop and they all stopped, looked at me and laughed, presumably mocking my accent. Then, not another word from the man working there. No "How can I help you?" or "I'll be with you in a second". Nothing. Instead, he carried on a conversation with the two girls that didn't seem to be business related at all. I wandered to the back, where the main desk was located, for a bit and waited to be helped. A few minutes passed and he didn't even bother to turn around or acknowledge me. Impatient and annoyed, I decided to leave and get my film developed elsewhere. His loss. The owner / manager / employees of this place should seriously go back to school and learn how to run a small business properly, or at the very least how to give some semblance of proper customer service.

The instructions said they could open within 30 minutes, but this was not the case, and the artist told me to come back after 1:30, when her son would open the store. I came back, and they were indeed open. Prices are clearly marked, and they don't haggle. It is rather expensive, at about 80 euros for a large, round puzzle, and more if you want one of the interesting Golem figures.
