I wish I had come here hungrier. After exploring the Schwerin Castle, I stopped at this establishment for an afternoon snack before I left the city. I seated myself at a table inside and was promptly brought a menu (which is all in German by the way). I only ordered the Brot option from the appetizer section, as I did not want a full meal, and an aperol spritz to go with it. Everything was brought to me quickly, and it was all very tasty. The brot menu item is some slices of bread served with two different spreads. One was dill based (like tzatziki) and the other was a tomato spread. While both were good, I preferred the tomato spread slightly more. The bread went well with my spritz, which was my first by the way. It was refreshing, bubbly, and I liked the fact that I could still taste the alcohol. Over all this place is very nice, and a great stop if you're looking for somewhere quiet in Schwerin to relax away from crowds. Been there on a Sunday morning. Had Italian breakfast with additional scrambled eggs with feta and it was super delicious! The service was very friendly and the place is really cozy and cute! If I return to Schwerin I'll definitely return to this place. read more

I didn't see too much of Schwerin life, as pretty much everything is closed on Sunday's, but Roesterei Fuchs stood out as a pretty awesome little coffee shop. In fact, I think I'd go as far as saying that it rivals the best cafe's in Hamburg. The coffee was great. The chocolate was also great and service & decor are good. If they hadn't been closing, and if we'd had more time, then I think we could have easily spent a good deal longer here as it was we stayed for two coffee's each read more

auf dem rückweg von der ostsee nach berlin wollten wir in schwerin frühstücken. kurz bei qype gesucht und die rösterei fuchs gefunden kein fehlgriff wie sich schnell herausstellte. das frühstück für zwei war auch für drei personen absolut ausreichend. kaffee war wirklich gut, der cappucino etwas zu milchig aber alles in allen ein wirklich tolles café, wir haben uns auch noch mit salz und senf eingedeckt! read more
