The Catholic Church in Ettingen is okay. I was at this place for a Christmas concert. It is a large and rather bland church on a steep hill. Inside the murals and ornamentation are very hypermodern and some windows looked like they had been taken apart, dismantled and partially replaced. The interior feel was that of a modernized altar and subdued 'stick-man' paintings that were all the same brown color did not fit, at all. The new appurtenances did not mesh with traditional Catholic doctrine. All in all a bit of an incoherent hodgepodge. Review: 3 read more
