Absolutely check this place out! A bit on the pricier side, but worth it!!
Drink: wine (of course)
Right away: given bread and Galicia style bread (moreso a patty with potatoes, salmon or tuna?, and vegetables)
Our server was quite nice. He did not speak English but informed us that both English and Spanish were stated on the menu. Warning: this restaurant wants you to enjoy and relax while eating lunch... If you would like your food to be served faster, tell them.
We started with the grilled octopus (Galicia style). This octopus was served with the skin on, much fattier than usual but quite tasty! The octopus was served with spices on top, on a bed of potatoes and olive oil. Next we had scallops... The scallops were doused in diced onions and spices.. It was an unpleasant surprise to find that the chewy part of the scallop was still intact. I ended up leaving the table right after to go floss my teeth in the restroom. The rest of the scallop was cooked just right and had the right amount of flavor. As entrées, we order the tuna tataki and sea bass (the sea bass was not on the menu - a special order). The tuna tataki was quite different than the usual... It was cut much thicker and grilled a little more (very heavy). It also had a darker shade than the pink to dark pink norm. The sea bass was amazing (served with two sauces - one yogurt, the other a sweeter soy). I preferred the sea bass to the tuna tataki as it was much lighter and flaky.
For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake. Loved it. Just the right amount of sweetness to end my lunch!
I would have given 5*s... But the fact I had to go floss my teeth right after having the scallops was very unpleasant. I would give this place 4.5/5.
