Friday night we went to Ryann's Wines next to Stew Leonards's in East Meadow for a Valentine's Day wine tasting. It cost $20 each for what they said would be a 40 wines to taste but it turned out to be much more, with every type of wine in the books. When you were checked in, you also received a $20 coupon for whatever you wanted to buy from the store, good that night, so everybody pretty much took home a free bottle. The place was mobbed, and the tasting area was the size and general shape of a boxing ring. However, everybody was having fun - especially the people pouring. Win/Win/Win! They will be having more of these tastings through the year and I'll see you there. read more

Not a very customer friendly place. They love the word "no". Boxes to throw away they want to charge you. All other liquor stores they give you free of charge. Total wines is the place to go. read more

Me and my friends had a great time sampling wine at one of their weekend events - what a perfect way to catch up with friends, try something new, and get a little buzz (drink responsibly / car pool). Ryann's is like the Promised Land of spirits. Just what we need during this pandemic to lift our spirits. Ryann's seems to have everything you need to get you through the bad times and celebrate the good. While in the area I needed to pick up a bottle of wine for a friend's gathering and stumbled upon the raving reviews Ryann's reaped (I'm such a poet). I decided to visit and met 2 very friendly sales professionals on the floor who helped me find my favorite wine Jeunesse Black Muscat. It's my favorite dessert wine and paired with a great dinner. This store is beautifully designed with class and elegance. I love how each wine is categorized by place of origin. They did a really good job decorating some of the aisles especially with the Rosè. Before leaving I grabbed some party favors I call them to enjoy before the gathering. They have so many to choose from for $1.99. Great overall prices here and deals where you choose 5 bottles for a percebtag I can't wait to come back to stock up. read more

The service is not great. It's as if they it take for granted that there aren't other liquor stores in the area ? I would go out of my way to go elsewhere, I made a purchase at 7:40 pm , I came back when I realized they gave me something that looked like what I asked for , but wasn't. I came back , no big deal .... Nope it was literally 8:03 , they closed the lights , after making eye contact and said come back tomorrow, we're closed at 8:pm ! It was literally 8:03 ! So no we aren't ever going in there again. Especially since we were spending $200. For a special edition Whiskey, 1 bottle , yup $200. Yup never in that store , as in ever !!!! A good alternative to the crowd favorite Total Wine. It's a much smaller space but they have a nice selection of wines and spirits. Prices are competitive. Get on their mailing list for occasional specials. The e-mail special prices are not reflected on the labels but the sale price is reflected on check-out. A bit annoying but it's a lot of work changing prices for a 3 day sale. Staff is friendly and will help you find what your looking for. There was a guy in a long black coat with a booming voice asking anyone if they needed help. Wasn't sure if he worked there or was a customer but it appeared after awhile that he was an employee. Every time I come home to visit my parents on LI this shopping center changes. I'd say this is the most positive change I've seen yet! Dropped in on a Saturday afternoon to pick up 6 bottles of wine (5 or more are 5 or 10% off - I forget which one, but love a good wine discount!). While I was browsing at least 2 people working asked me if they could help. Love the friendly service and large selection! I'm sure I'll be back before Thanksgiving. read more

Love Ryann's wines!! I got a really awesome Rosè there for a great price...I mean who doesn't?! Rosè from Provence chilled and waiting for me? Yes please! There is an extensive selection of wines and various liquors and every single time I've been, there is always someone giving out samples of wine or liquor. Win win!! The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and it's pristinely clean and well stocked. This is a great addition to East Meadow!! I am really loving how we are turning it up a notch here in my hometown with better quality and modern stores to replace the dilapidated ones. read more

I was there one day and there was 1 person at the checkout counter. There were a few people stocking shelves and an employee at the customer service desk talking to her friend. I was the fourth person in line and another employee came over to the checkout register to tell a person in line they didn't have a certain product in stock. He then walked off without opening another register. After about another 2 min I just put my case down and walked out. read more

They have done a nice job in the limited space they have. I didn't find what I was looking for but the staff made a great recommendation in it's place. You must go in and see the new, pristine location of Ryann's. It is such a breath of fresh air to have such a clean, organized and local wine and liquor store here in East Meadow. The staff is extremely knowledgeable supplying me with their recommendations for my Easter guests with Red blends, Rose wines and other liquor.
