Nice people, helpful and informative. Not big into alcohol, but I keep seeing this stuff called peanut butter stout. They were quick to find me a brand of it they had, as well as peanut butter and jelly, which I may pick up next time. They also have lottery, which is convenient. Popped in to pick up some beer for a party. They stepped up their inventory immensely since I last visited years ago. Great selection of craft beers. Lots of room temp options, about a half dozen on tap to fill your growler with, and top notch selection of locals within their walk-in refrigerator. The walk-in is enormous. One of the biggest walk ins I've come across. I was particularly impressed by all the offerings available from Sand City plus all of the awesome singles available. They sell loose cans too, which is a great way to try things. They stock craft beer faves like Other Half. Plus a ton of stuff from other breweries I'd never even heard of before. Preparations for my second annual Labor Day BBQ. My brother and I were driving all over town for last minute shopping. He wanted to make sure his friends and himself had something to drink so we decided to get a keg at "Bellmore Beverage" to put in his Keg refrigerator (thats right, I said he has a refrigerator, designed to hold a keg; equipped with a beer spout). My brother has been here many times because they have a huge variety of kegs. This is my first time going, but the manager made me feel like family. Very friendly guy, he talked to everyone. The staff was friendly as well, also fast. Minutes after he paid for the keg the employee came out with the keg on a handcart ready to take it were it needed to go. I took him to my brothers car and he loaded right in. That was amazing. Since they don't just do beer, I purchased soda and chips for the party. They also carry cigars for the smoking crowd. I love this beverage store, they have a growler station. Today i filled up with Lagunitas sucks brown shugga substitiute. It was great and so fresh. Theres always plenty of beer to be had! I returned my bottles there also and the guy was really nice and counted all my bottles correctly. He was great, I told him he must of got an "A" in math class!! Bellmore beverage is a great place to get your drinks and snacks anytime. I went in there last week to recycle my water bottles and they were just restocking their cases of water. The man moving the water saw that it caught my eye and offered to bring as many cases as I want out to my car. Was there on the 4th of July. It was very crowded and most people weren't wearing a mask. I was going to complain at the register, but then I saw that most of the workers weren't wearing them either. Bellmore Beverage is great. They have an amazing microbrew and serious European bottle lineup, including saisons and sours. The manager knows his beer and will try to order what you want. The growler station may be the best lineup anywhere. Just today Dogfish 90 Minute IPA, Unibroue Fin Du Monde, Dogfish Pumpkin, Six-Point Brownstone, Port Jeff Porter, Kelso Brandy Barrel Aged Saison ( a great delicious sour ... Wait a minute I've never even heard of this or seen this anywhere and it's incredible, you must try a sour and ask Steve to get more like it), Arrogant Bastard....and more, check beer menus! Don't even live in the area and went out of my way to stop in. Came in for White Claw and bought a bunch of stuff my local store does not carry. Good selection of beer, both microbrewed and non. They also do a growler-fill service, which I think is really cool. One of the guys that work there (who seems to at least be a manager) is willing to chat it up with you to and make some good microbrew recommendations. The other staff can be a bit aloof, but never truly surly. The downside is that I sometimes notice a price markup on certain harder to get beers. They also do bottle returns on premises. read more

So I go in to get a 12 pack of my favorite beer. As I look through the "Cold" display I see there are no more in the fridge. So I go up to the counter and ask the young lady "Do you have any cold ones?" (The two young ladies look at each other as if they were dumbfounded) "uh-um, If they're not in there we don't have anymore" was the reply I got. So, I took it upon myself to walk back to the fridge area, opened the door and poked my head in..."ALAS!" There are two full rows sitting back there! I go back up to the counter and tell her "There are plenty in the back, can you please page someone to bring it up?" I received the nastiest attitude from her at this point. As I am waiting for the guy to bring it up the girl is blowing me off, not even an apology. So I wait and wait and have to listen to this girl flirt with some guy, the other girl is telling everyone how "Done" she is with her job and so on. So the beer finally makes its way up to the counter and I check out. Not only didnt I get an apology but she has the nerve not even to say thank you after the purchase!!!! I have been a customer of this location for almost 10 years and am sorry to say "I will NEVER go back here again!!!" Quite the shame to have to lose a 10 year customer to irresponsible customer service! Good bye Bellmore Beverage! This place is a typical beverage place. They have a large selection if beers and other drinks. They have ice that is pretty cheap if you have a party. This place is very close to my house so I go here often. The downside to this place is there is a very small head first parking lot in front of the store. If you go during busy times there will be no spots. When you want to leave you have to back out onto a busy Newbridge Road. read more
