Tuna poke bowl, Salmon poke bowl.

As a frequent flier myself, I frequent airports and long layovers, and finding good food can be tricky, luckily, we have Ryú at the Montreál Trudeau International Airport! Here you can find a great deal of fresh made sushi rolls, poke, and drinks. I visited this place twice, and got the sushi and the poke. The sushi I got was actually pretty good, and was very fresh. My only dissatisfaction was with the price though. When I returned, I tried the poke, and that was so much better. Not only was it way cheaper, but it had so much fish, rice, and extras. So much better of a deal and better quality overall. They were not stingy here. There are two locations currently, one in the main gatehouse, (near gates 50), and one in the US terminal (near gates 30). The one in the main gatehouse has more seating inside, and is more of a restaurant feel, while the one in the US terminal is definitely more of a grab and go (but there is seating and tables nearby). I will say that the US terminal one was way easier to navigate and see the menu items. The staff were also friendlier and easy to work with. I recommend this place very much. I loved the food here. Very quick, tasty, and relatively good priced, especially for airport food. I will return if I ever fly through here again!

Tuna roll that is mostly rice. Watch out.

Well we got there on a Saturday night at 7:30 and the place was busy and the hostess asked if we had a reservation . Which we said no . They did have one table open. The menu has a good variety of tapas style dishes but limited on a meal for one person . We ordered Tuna poke , garlic fried rice, small order of bacon fries, cauliflower wings for 2 people . The food came hot . The tuna poke was fresh and tasty but no rice . The garlic fried was crispy and flavourful . The bacon fries were crispy and tasteful. The pork bacon was crispy thick chunks . The cauliflower wings were great . Cauliflower wings had a light batter crispy with an interesting thai sauce. The food was great but needed extra sauce. The only negative aspect was the service . Since they are new they are working out the kinks . The staff was very friendly and had a good attitude -which made up for service . We ended our meal with French toast pound cake with ice cream topped off with Nutella . Which was great. Kale Bacon is sure a hit and we will be back .

They were sold out of a few key dishes ( it was Friday at 1pm). The fries however, are really really good. It's quite pricey for what you get. I won't be back and don't recommend it.

Got the same as usual, volcano poke bowl (fave order) and to my disappointment, it was a good 1/3 portion smaller. I paid almost $15 for it! Also, veryyy slow service. Took 20 minutes to get my lunch and the place was pretty empty... not sure I'll be back often! The Westmount location is still my favourite.

Although you will find that (not stale though), and it's pretty good, if you have time for a proper sit-down meal, you will be pleasantly surprised to find some of the better sushi in the city. Here are my favourites: - 911 - Sweetheart - Philly - Saumon épicé - Inferno - Smoky (All of that costs about $50 tax-in). This sushi is seriously GREAT. I have but one complaint about the restaurant, and that is that it's sub-zero in there. And I mean like, arctic-cold. Year round. In summer, I have to bring a sweatshirt. And in winter, nothing will do. Tonight I had to wear my jacket, a huge scarf around my head and neck, and leather mitts (not the easiest to eat with chopsticks but kudos to me, I did it!). They actually have air conditioning going all year round. A constant cold blast of air coming from the vents, which you can't avoid no matter where you sit. I truly don't get it. Speaking of sitting, they have some cute little tables with comfy couches and arm chairs to sit in... There are only a handful of tables in the place, but never more than 1-2 tables are occupied when I've been here. I think a lot of people do take-out. Anyway, dress for the North Pole and head over to this sushi shop and you'll walk away cold on the surface but warm on the inside from having had some seriously tasty eats.
