The only thing I didn't like was the baked goods. I purchased a sourdough. It had caraway which is similar to rye and I do not like rye. I did however like the croissants I purchased but on the flip side the five cookies were meh. So more was bad than good. The other vendors I purchased from were wonderful. Eggs, bone-in pork chops, ground beef , dog treats (chicken claws) three types of greens, arugula, Bibb and romaine, and a frozen chicken were some of the things I purchased. I did notice only one vendor had fruit, strawberries, which sold out quickly. The next time I go I hope there is more to choose from. I will definitely return.

A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

That's not even what I loved the most. The prices are better than almost every corporate grocer in town, but that's not what I loved the most. A place like this would probably have an odor if it wasn't cleaned well and often. The only smells here are fruits and veggies. Oh, and Basil! And that's not what I loved the most. They have homemade canned goods like jams and jellies and sauerkraut etc. Some honey and plants and at least 12+ varieties of tomatoes. One batch looked like Cherokee Purple. Others were striped and heirloom varieties. No green zebras, but so many others. Here's why it's 5 stars: There are 2 registers (cash only) which face one another and a walkway between them to enter and leave. While we were being rung-up on a busy Saturday afternoon, I was fortunate to hear the conversation at the register behind me. I don't know what prompted it, but the gentleman at the register said, "we give credit to first-timers if you can't pay, and we won't let anybody go without produce." Yep, instant loyalty and this was what I loved about it the most!
