I'd like to start out by saying the new ownership has made many improvements to the facility, and…read morethe staff is 1st class! My meal included their Shrimp & Grits, and the wife had their stuffed shrimp and baked potato. Rolls were furnished, and a nice small cone of sorbet before the meal was great. Now how I evaluated our visit to Market Place Prime. The facility is great and gets a solid 5, the waiting staff was as good as it gets and I give it a solid 5. My Shrimp & Grits was very disappointing and in fact it was not close to what I had hoped would mirror the dish found in the South. The wife's Shrimp was over cooked but had a good flavor. Her potato was perfect. So my rating of the food we had was a 1. The food here is very expensive, so I have to rate the value of our meal was very poor, so I rate it a 1. I concluded a rating of 3 was pretty high, but will sure try it again someday. Their steaks looked great, but understand they are very expensive. Will we try Market Street Prime again? Since it's the nicest upscale restaurant in Zanesville we sure will! I'll just avoid the Shrimp & Grits!
