Georgia Furniture Mart

I saw a commercial for this place and we were going to shop for 2 bedrooms and a dining set for the…read moresmaller part of the kitchen. We went on the 20th, which was the Kennesaw Grand Opening. Everyone was nice and not pushy at all. We were approached by Granger, really nice. I told him what I was looking for and he said that makes it a whole lot easier for him to know what I want. While we started at one side of the store looking around, he went around the store to find what I wanted and within our budget. Granger came back and started walking with us and showed us exactly what we were looking for and within our budget. Everything is laid out for you without having to search for a price. Georgia Furniture Mart sells by the piece and the set. They have packages called "the small way", which are the bed, one nightstand, a dresser and a mirror. Then the "all the way" which includes the chest. Then all the prices are listed on the front of the packages in plain view. They deliver or you can pick up from their warehouse. They had everything but our nightstands for one set and would deliver when they came in, but we chose to save the half-price delivery fee and pick them up about 30 minutes from us at the warehouse. I shopped 3 major brand stores and at the end of the day, Georgia Furniture Mart was the best on furniture, by the piece and delivery price. My furniture was delivered on the 25th, by Jermaine and Eddie. You are given a time frame and can track it. My scheduled time was between 5 and 7:30 and I was delivery number 12, they called and got here at 3 pm. Yay!! And they put our furniture together. Jermaine and Eddie, we're very professional and worked great as a team. One thing I was told to do was to inspect the furniture before the guys left, the bedrooms were fine, I didn't think about the dining set till they walked out the door. Two stools were very wobbly and one of the wobbly stools had a chip. If you have issues with the furniture, call the 1-800 number. Your salesperson will not be able to help you after this point, it is best to just go straight to the website to get things moving faster. You will need to take videos and pictures of the issues and submit them, but the response was fast. The first appointment I had they rescheduled and the second appointment, Krashawn, the tech, fixed my stuff right at my house, even the cracked piece. The only thing is, for a brand new dining set, I should have gotten a brand new chair not a quick fix. Other than staying on top of checking your stuff, which it should never have left the warehouse like that. Georgia Furniture Mart has a nice selection, good prices, sells by the piece, two different packages, upfront visible pricing, stock available, friendly associates, a warehouse you can pick up from, and professional techs, it's a pretty good place to add for furniture shopping and I had no issues with my 2 bedroom sets. Stop by and check out Georgia Furniture Mart.

I was previously a satisfied customer of Georgia Furniture Mart and had made purchases there in the…read morepast without any issues. Based on that experience, I returned to the store and made another purchase in November 2025, which included a sectional sofa, a kitchen table, and a bedroom set. Within one week of delivery, I began experiencing significant issues with the furniture. The sectional sofa became discolored and the wooden support structure on the back began bulging outward. The kitchen table, which was originally white, turned yellow in less than a week. The dresser is now warped. I was repeatedly told this damage was caused by water, despite the fact that no water was ever spilled on or near the furniture inside my home. I made numerous attempts to contact the store manager, Wayne and left multiple messages over several weeks with no response. I was told it was due to the holiday season, but communication completely stopped. It was not until January 8th that I finally received a text message requesting photos of the damaged items. During delivery, it was raining heavily, and some of the furniture was placed on my front porch because everything could not be brought inside at once. Although the items were partially covered, they were still exposed to a full thunderstorm. A delivery driver later confirmed to me that the damage appeared to be delivery-related and not caused by anything I did in my home. To support this, I shared weather records for the delivery date, which confirmed thunderstorms in the area. Despite this, the store (Ashley) has continued to deny responsibility and insisted there was no rain that day, even though photos clearly show wet streets in outdoor conditions. Recently, the company picked up part of the sofa and the top of the kitchen table, stating they would attempt repairs. A representative was sent to my home to spray a substance on the table in an attempt to correct the discoloration, but this had no effect. I recorded the interaction, as the representative appeared dismissive and stated only that "someone will contact you." To date, I have received no refund, no price adjustment, and no apology. Communication has been poor, and I feel my concerns have not been taken seriously. The furniture manager Ashley I dealt with was dismissive and unwilling to consider the evidence I provided. I am sharing this experience so that other consumers are aware of the challenges I have faced in trying to resolve what I believe is clearly delivery-related damage. I am still seeking a fair resolution, which should include either a refund, replacement, or appropriate price adjustment for the damaged furniture.

I've been living in the ATL area for 2 years now and better late than never to have found this…read morespot! I ended up driving out here to check out the outdoor market which I came across on Instagram (which had some cool finds as well). But going inside had so many fun vendor stalls! Whether you are into home decor, vintage collections, or other tchotchkes, this should be a place you add to your list to check out. While I came here today with my 3 year old, this is definitely a spot I can (and will) come back to explore solo with an iced coffee in hand so I can take my sweet time to really take in all the nooks and crannies of this market. Plus, they have a little cafe inside if you find yourself working up a thirst or appetite from indulging in some retail therapy. While there were several things I would have liked to purchase I narrowed it down to a cute framed painting of a ghost reading a book, but I'm sure my next visit I'll manage to purchase quite a few items.

An odd and unprofessional experience here. An employee had posted an item used in a display on…read moreFacebook marketplace. I was interested and communication was quick. I let them know I was on my way and would be there in an hour (drove from Decatur up to Acworth). Upon arriving only to find the item had been sold out from underneath me! Understandably frustrated from the waste of time the blame game started with the employee who made the Facebook marketplace posting blaming the ladies up front who then turned around blaming the employee who made the posting. Lack of proper communication and unprofessionalism sent me home without spending a dime and I can't recommend to anyone else.
