Our cabin here was small, basic, and clean--just enough for a pleasant stay while we explored Terra Nova National Park and its surroundings. Furniture and appliances were in good condition and the bed was comfortable.
Space in the bathroom was a little tight. The shower nozzle does not move, though it's positioned at a comfortable angle. Hot water is quite hot, and it was difficult to set a desirable water temperature--I usually settled for just a bit cooler than I'd have liked. Cookware was OK for the most part, though the lone fry pan was a badly scratched nonstick. There was a nice gas grill on the porch, though we didn't make use of it. Each cabin has a steel firepit with a chimney, but we visited when a burning ban was in place and couldn't use it. Wi-Fi was inconsistent.
Though the cabins aren't directly on the water, you can catch a glimpse of the bay from many points on the property, and out the cabin windows. There is a gift shop/restaurant on the grounds, along with a small outdoor pool.
