Single stall bathrooms were what we were pointed to for this venue - clean with the typical bathroom amenities but no additional necessities, at least in the women's restroom. Large windows in both room allowed natural lighting, seating was circular tables accommodating 10+ seats. Uncertain if the organization or Goei provided those. Bartenders were kind and friendly. I order my cocktails neat, so I'm not certain if there are mixologists or masters of their trade. Overall, great service.

The woman that owned the chapel which of whom goes by the name of Carol Rash. The wedding started at 4 pm but my mom (the bride) was still getting ready, no big deal right? Well Carol (already upset at some of us for arriving a little late before the wedding was to begin) decided that now was the best time to concern the bride with the money she was to be paid for having the chapel being rented out. My mother obliged to write the check after she gets her dress on. Carol, dissatisfied, pressured the bride to write her the check right then and there and so my mother did. After that, Carol demanded my mother to write down her full name, and my mother did as she asked. A few minutes later, Carol came back to the bride demanding her pay to be in cash. This created a problem because obviously none of us have brought 500 dollars in cash with us to a wedding. So this caused the groom to rush to the ATM and withdraw 500 dollars. Once the money was brought to Carol, she went on as if nothing happened and let the wedding commence. A slight detail was left out of this story as well. When my Aunt arrived late Carol accused her of "not caring for the wedding at all" while having her finger in my Aunts face. This is not the whole story but I just hope to not bore who ever is reading this, but I highly advise to not rent out this chapel from a lady by the name of Carol Rash, the lady was very disrespectful and made my mother (the bride) cry at her own wedding. Super friendly as well. -Very spacious ballroom--huge dance floor, can accompany large weddings. The Bad: -ant infestation? Ok, they probably can't control that, but the wedding was outside and the chairs were CRAWLING with ants. The bride had been told that they would spray prior to the wedding. Apparently, they didn't. -Perhaps this is par for the course, but we were required to take down all the decorations and place settings prior to the end of the reception (apparently there was a wedding there the next day early on). I'd never heard of having to break down the decorations PRIOR to the end of the reception. We tried to hide this from the bride as much as possible. The Ugly: -The bar closes during dinner. Just CLOSES. No warning, nothing. They will give you coffee and water, but nothing else. I thought that this was perhaps my friend's choice, but I came to learn that it's a venue policy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an alcoholic that HAS to drink continuously during weddings, but a little advanced warning would be nice. If there are cocktails before, it seems strange that they would stop drink service DURING dinner (but then resume it after). Odd.

Seriously, that's still revenue that's generated if I purchase drinks at the bar. It was tough also not to think it was a racial issue, because I feel that we may have been treated differently if we were white. I was honesty worried how the actual ceremony and reception was going to go. The ladies locker room was very nice and spacious. You can find everything in there that a woman could possibly need. The room could probably accomodate 300-400 people. The food was excellent here! The buffet is probably the best I've had at a wedding. The beef was tender and juicy. The chicken also very flavorful. The green beans were cooked right on par, not soft and soggy nor was it raw. I want to not recommend the place because of the person and she's the only point person you can deal with, but the place was great.
