As per some of the other reviews this is an odd review to say the least. I initially was looking for someone to come out and do a pre-emergent spray and a weed and feed. Rustic Ridge immediately answered and had someone out here within a day or two. The service was conducted great and the price was very fair. The oddity started happening after, where they were supposed to come out in another eight weeks to do another weed and feed. It was extremely difficult to get someone on the phone at their office number and get a return call. I finally got ahold of someone at the office and they had said one of their techs had just had a baby so it may be a little longer but they would try and get someone else out there to take his place. Which I totally understood. After about three weeks of not hearing from them again (at this point it has been about 12-13 weeks between the supposed eight week weed and feed) I called and I have since, not been able to get ahold of anyone or get a return call after leaving numerous messages. So to end this I'll say their initial service was awesome but then went rapidly downhill and I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or what but there has not been any transparency and I have thus had to look for another company to care of my needs. From what I'm reading, this Owner is the problem. He's also not good to his employees. My son was fired recently for no reason after "Brian" knowing he was having a difficult time. Regardless my son showed up to work and worked hard and did what he was told, rarely took time off either. I'd suggest anyone looking to apply, look at Yelp first. read more

I hired Rustic Ridge to do my landscaping for my home. I had just first in the backyard. The yard needed leveling; concrete edges; trees and shrubs. It also needed an irrigation system installed for watering. He was provided with the builder's architectural design as were my fencers. After I went with him to the nursery to choose trees, plants and trees his crew proceeded with the plan. The plan consisted of him showing me where trees, shrubs and plants would be planted. I signed this contract. The leveling: fair. There are 3 fairly deep holes beneath the turf. I tripped and fell in one. The arrangement of the shrubs: Poor. As I am/was not familiar with the growth rate and size of the bushes, I did not know how these shrubs would grow in relation to their placement. One shrub that grows quickly and wildly was placed in front of my dining room window. Another of the same bush types was placed in front of a cluster of 3 bushes, literally hiding the other 2 and the boulder decoratively placed behind it. I had to hire someone else to dig out the bush hiding my dining room window and to move the boulder. The plants: they are nice and doing well. The trees: one died and I realized this into the second year. Again, not being in the industry I was unaware how the trees should appear and it wasn't until the second spring when I saw withering of branches that I realized the tree was dead. Brian gave me the run around about soil types & health and did come over and dig up some soil to send 'in' for testing to see if the soil was cause of the death of tree. Brian never got back to me. When I finally called him he said he never saw the report come across his desk. He was going to look for it and get back to me. Nada; this never happened. I finally called again and it was a confrontational call. I believe he owes me a tree and the planting thereof. He would only do the work of planting a tree after I purchased one. I have not heard from his since. The irrigation system: it was placed. Supposedly was checked by the company but one of the sections by the fence gate flooded near the post with each watering. A couple of new sprinkler heads are next to the front yard ones previously placed by builders. Brian did hire a good subcontractor for the concrete. I would not hire this company. He does not stand behind his somewhat poor to low - average work. read more

Brian the owner was difficult to work with. He was not true to his word. He did a poor job in putting in my sprinkler system. I paid almost 6,000 and I had to fix several of the heads. I had also just had curbing put in and one of his guys put a big chip in it. I took a picture and sent it to him and he tried to deny it. He would not take responsibility for the mistake, and because I didn't contract it through him he wasn't willing to fix it. After that he did a half as job on spraying hydroseed on my yard. I called him and complained and he said he would fix it for more money. read more

So i recently bought a property in twin falls and had a few ideas for a landscape/hardscape project. I talked to a few of the head landscape company's here and i must say Rustic Ridge was the move. the worst job of laying sod I have ever seen, did not level yard before hand, and the sod has inch or larger gaps between pieces of sod. I would never recommend this business to my worst enemy. read more
