They contracted Master Plumbing for the drain and faucet part of things and they are a wonderful organization to work with. The problems started with a new trap that needed to go in the drain. of course it was situated right over a floor joist which nobody checked out ahead of time, after 1/2 of the joist is cut away they now need to shore it up to the tune of $1000.00 for 15 mins. of work and 2 - 2ft pcs of 2x4's, a little pricey for something that should have been caught and priced in to begin with. The shower installer gets here and discovers that he needs to cut the cast iron tub in half to remove it and was unprepared for that but he dealt with it, in the process knocking a bunch of insulation out of the wall and into the basement which then ends up getting soaking wet when he had a mishap with the shower controls. No problem IF he would have cleaned up the mess. So now I'm paying an extra $1000 for 2 pcs of wood to be nailed up, I have a flood in my basement and a BUNCH of soggy insulation all over my basement that I need to clean up before it gets moldy and smelly. I was letting that all go, I got my shower, I was happy. Now, 6 weeks later I am painting my bathroom and learn that the silicone sealant that they put all around the shower enclosure is NOT PAINTABLE! REALLY!! So I now have a border around my shower enclosure covered in clear sealant the color my bathroom was before painting that I can't paint over. if it were a nice straight even line, I could live with that, it blends in but its not a nice clean line, so now what. I've written emails, I've called and left messages and I've gotten 1 call back and was told someone would call me back Monday, that was last week, today is Thursday. I'm fed up, pissed off, and if I could reverse the payment on this I'd do it in a heart beat. I'm not sure there's a good to solution to this problem, but really guys, is a phone call so tough. I've gone from mildly annoyed but still pleased with my shower to extremely irritated and unhappy about the whole process.

We had AV Roofing install a new roof on a 1500sq' building in Rupert . They stripped the old roof,…read moreinstalled new felt, ice & water shield, drip edge and architectural asphalt shingles. This all happened the end of June. We thought everything looked good, so we paid the invoice in full. Unfortunately on July 4 we had a leak. So I immediately I called the owner of AV roofing to inform him about the issue. It took him over a week just to come and troubleshoot the issue. The owner and some of his workers removed some of the new shingles, installed some additional waterproofing. This is where things started to go wrong. They did not bring with them any shingles to replace the ones that they removed to find and fix the leak. Since that time the owner has giving me two different dates that he would have the repairs done by, which never happened. This issue started on July 4th and it is still not resolved as of August 24th. Now, the owner of AV Roofing will not return my text messages or calls. So much for feeling good about our new roof. I would not recommend this company.
