They're cash only & that's preposterous in this era. Cash only & no food. The place also looks like it's been falling apart for 20 years. The curtains are dingy, the curtains upstairs are falling apart. The exterior is straight out of a horror movie. They only recently upgraded to flat screen TVs, finally new floors laid after I'm sure someone called about their asbestos tiles chipping up & they have badly outdated furniture. Some of the regulars are downright rude, the bartender's tend to be less polite to younger ppl. The pros are it is a quaint house bar, and ya get to avoid the downtown crowds. Their parking lot is a good size & layout for plenty of parking availability. They have a pool table. A jukebox with good selections. I have suggested this place to others, though I often suggest other local spots. This place fails so badly, where they could really shine, if they weren't so damn cheap!

When I came in I was literally the only person there and when I said I didn't have a reservation, the girl acted like I was a bother. She did seat me in likely the most awkward spot you could think of, but the entire time I was there exactly one additional table came in. At least an hour, maybe a little more. So why could I have not had a more reasonable location to sit? And for staff, other than one hostess one time I've been there, all staff have acted annoyed to be there. The food has been good each time I've been there, but no point in mentioning it since it changes all the time. I think there's a few things that stay menu to menu, but I didn't have any of those. At least not that I'm aware of. The names are all part of the theme as well so it could be hard to tell. Drinks here are tiny and expensive. Also on theme again with whatever the popup is. They go very light on the alcohol so I do not feel like I'm getting my value with the drinks. And another thing is they give you the tiniest glass of water. Three sips and you have to ask for more. I guess that's to get you to buy more drinks? Desserts have been exceptional. That's keeping it at 3 stars and not down to 2.
