Was it already always a pleasure to be there, the ambiance created now is really fantastic. The feeling is one of luxury and intimacy combined; the ultimate feeling that you long for when going out for dinner. The dishes created by Marco Somer are of high quality and taste sensational. The special combinations consist of pure ingredients, presented in a beautiful manner. They are all small pieces of art that make De Harmonie23 eligible for a Michelin star, in our opinion. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and frank are words that come to mind when I think about the service. The passionate sommelier Zappa proposes excellent wines to accompany a dish and enjoys sharing his knowledge in a nice and spontaneous manner. When the weather is good, you can sit outside in the serene and fairy tale like garden that I dare to call the most beautiful restaurant garden in Rotterdam. And you can also marry here! We had our wedding party at this location half a year ago. Everyone at De Harmonie23 contributed to the realisation of our dream party. I started with the house red wine and it was a nice wine to go with dinner. My first course was a beef carpaccio which was wonderful. Everything was delicious. Service was good, not as attentive as I would expect for a nice restaurant. I asked for a quiet area and they were able to accommodate. The food took a long time to come out roughly an hour as it was pretty crowded on a Wednesday night for some reason. My meal with a starter, main dish, and 2 glasses of wine came to 78 euros. Expensive but I'm willing to pay for excellent food. Overall, I would definitely come back to try some more dishes.
