I've always imagined Rustan's as a place brimming with classy products, excellent service, unparalleled customer experiences, and - well, you get the picture. Sadly, while my wife and I had a heck of a good time picking out the items for our bridal registry last 2013, the experience of actually having the gifts our guests chose for us was a little less than perfect.
We were due to check into our hotel the day before our wedding, and were scheduled to take a 4-day out-of-town- trip right after our 2 free nights at the hotel, so I asked our coordinator at Rustan's to deliver all the gifts on a specific date 2 weeks AFTER the wedding. Despite repeated complaints from me, a new batch of packages was delivered to our building THE NIGHT BEFORE our wedding, which promptly got this angry groom marching into Rustan's and taking names. I thoroughly enjoyed the gift selection at Rustan's and still believe that they are the ultimate bridal registry, but I do believe complacency may be starting to get the best of them. read more
