I found a truck I liked and placed a deposit to secure it. The dealership attempted to arrange financing but was unsuccessful. After that, I informed them that I had my own lender ready and asked my salesperson to hold the truck until the next day so my lender could reach out. Instead of honoring that agreement, they sold the truck to someone else without informing me. The next day, when I followed up, I was told the truck was already in the process of being sold to another customer. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I understand that salespeople are motivated by profit, but basic communication and integrity should still matter. In this case, neither was shown. It's clear that customer service and long-term reputation are not a priority here. If you value honesty, transparency, and professionalism, I recommend looking elsewhere.

They offered him $17,000 for his trade, which we considered an unreasonable offer. When he asked about purchasing the BMW without trading in his current vehicle, the salesperson told him the bank would "flag" him for having two vehicles and would not finance a second car. Yet the salesperson had not run his credit or even asked about his income. How can you tell someone what financing they qualify for without reviewing their finances? My son was wearing a durag and a hat over his dreads. I cannot say what motivated the salesperson, but the way this was handled left me questioning whether my son was judged by his appearance instead of being taken seriously as a buyer. Having an existing vehicle loan does not automatically mean someone cannot finance another vehicle. Giving him a blanket rejection without even reviewing his qualifications was dismissive and unacceptable. He came in to buy a car and deserved an honest conversation and a fair opportunity. Sanger Chevrolet lost our business, and I will be sharing this experience with anyone who asks where to shop for a vehicle.
