Completely extortionate prices - was charged £60 for a trim of my ends without a blowdry. Really unreasonable.

Even if you're desperate, don't do it! I came here TWICE out of desperation because Malika is open…read morelate, and near to my office. The first time results were not what I wanted - over-threaded. I thought I just had a poor technician. The second time was worse. My mistake for coming back, I know, but maybe there isn't one trained threader in this whole studio?! My brows will never be the same. While on my last trip, I also observed one woman in tears about her brow job. The manager offered her half off next time - it's like they don't get that effing with a girl's brows means she won't return. Yeah, it's that bad. I highly recommend Ted Baker's salon services just across the street.

If I could give no stars I would. The place has no charm at all, and neither did the woman…read moreapplying my eyelash extensions. Usually I am able to drift off to sleep in the 2hrs it takes to apply, but I was unable to do so as the technician kept pinching my skin with her tools. I have never experienced anything like it. She didn't apologise even though I clearly winced in pain on a number of occasions, she was so unfriendly and clearly did not want to be there, no warmth at all. It is not a relaxing environment; the lashes are applied while you lie on a dentist style chair, it is not comfortable, I could not stretch my legs out, I'm only 5ft 5", I dread to think how uncomfortable a taller person would be. Now to the lashes. Pitiful is the only word I can think of. They are completely straight. I have had to take my eyelash curlers to them, an absolute no no usually as this weakens the bond, but they are not long and fluttery and flattering; they are just straight despite me making it very clear that I wanted curly extensions! Bizarre. My own lashes look a million times better. So next week after spending £120 on the most pointless lash extensions imaginable, I'm having them removed at Benefit and then some lovely curly long eye widening lashes will be applied in their place for £80. My advice? Stay away unless you like wasting money, rude people and pain!
