I recently filled out the survey on the rural king survey website, I requested for someone to contact me from corporate when asked if I wanted someone to contact me. I just needed some clarification on their return policy on a pond pump. I have been buying superior pumps from them for years. I use two different sizes for my koifish pond. I always buy the warranty on them because the quality has gone down the last few years. When I went to return one a couple years ago the cashier screamed at me for bringing it back into the store. I totally understand it was a new policy and understand how contaminants can be brought into the store so I get that is okay with me. So since then I don't bring a pump back and have never had a problem exchanging it. Until 9/29/2025 ,ticket # 518681. I was a little aggravated because I traveled a ways to get there and was told I had to bring it back to get an exchange or money back, one manager told me she had been to loss prevention class like I was trying to scam them. I've been spending money there since before she was born, I needed chicken feed, corn,bird seed, for my mother in law as well as my pump and some small items. I really was in a hurry that day so I drove home brought the pump back got my money and went and bought all my feed and stuff elsewhere. That will be the last time I come back to rural king, the fact that nobody can call me back as I requested speaks volumes about what you think about your long time customers. read more

This place and company is ridiculous I went in to get a refund and the supervisor was rude and complaining about how she hates her job and the managers and treated me like I was stupid I had to get irate to get someone to come help me that wasn't going to treat me like a person and not just screwing up there day I will not be going back because although I got the refund they would not tell me time period of when it would be back in my account and they treat me constantly like I don't matter they don't care go to farm and home instead read more
