I called the Lexus dealer in Oakland and they told me it would cost me $358.00 for a replacement key. NO! that wasn't a typing error, a replacement key cost $358.00!!!!! JUST FOR ONE FREAKING KEY!!! I love my Lexus, but I gonna think hard when I buy another car. So I went to the Lexus owner web site where there's a blog on people who have problems with their vehicles. I posted a message about my key issue and found that there were other people like myself who were just as shocked as I was to find out about a replacement key. Someone directed me to this company in West Virgina called Advanced Lock & Security (ALS). I found their web site and ordered a shell for my key for only $44.94!!!
