One thing that really impressed me was the customer service - it was fantastic! A very nice woman helped with getting the correct sizes and she was extremely knowledgeable, patient and seemed to really care. She even offered the arrangement of the alteration so I could have everything ready the following day - that was great! This was a bit more of an upscale store (from an American perspective in pricing), but it was well worth it since I left I very satisfied customer.

As with all discount outlets you have to be careful what you choose, there are good things and then there are some incredibly bad things. But I must admit, the good win. Local Store is a trendy urban fashion store, which based on the number of skateboards on dale is aiming at a skater market, I am not a skater but I would buy clothes there. I just bought an awesome t-shirt from Insight's Garage Artist's range, designed by Japanese artist Yaki Allen a white shirt featuring a black hole design, very cool. They also have the coolest headphones and ear-plugs, I have seen on sale in Sydney, I particularly like a pair of 80's style smaller wire headphones but with a ultra-modern design and in blue, red and yellow colour (that's three colours in one pair, not three separate colours, bit out of my price range, but everyone needs a dream.

Sure the prices are high but these are designer brands after all and to be expected. Although I have to admit Incu marks it up quite high. This place fits right into my approach to shopping. I don't shop often at all so I have a small wardrobe, but when I do I tend to buy investment pieces that would last me years. I have bought a few items here (mostly when its on sale) and even the most simple items look different when worn. My favourite designer is Alexander Wang and his casual wear line is amazing. He puts a bit of cool to my usual uniform of jeans and t-shirt! The assistants there are usually design students and are nice enough when approached. I guess the clothes speak for themselves and their demeanor reflective of most designer stores. Truth is, at current market conditions, I would rather shop online because you can get all of these designers on websites such as net-a-porter at much lower prices. But if I can't wait or if its sold out overseas, this is when I head to Incu. Lovely store with beautiful clothing.

Incu is great, expensive but great, I don't often buy anything as I don't want to spend $45 for a singlet or $120 on shorts, but if I had an unlimited budget and less clothes I would shop there. They sell casual designer clothes from leading design houses and their clothes cover a range of styles, but are all excellent quality and extremely stylish. Although I try to keep my credit card in my pocket, I still like to have a browse.

I have a beautiful cream cotton and silk top with black stripes that I bought here which I love. I also bought some great dark blue straight-leg trouser pants here which have served me really well. So yes, the prices are more on the expensive side but there's no need to empty out the store - a couple of pieces from here will benefit your wardrobe nicely. Also, if you think you've seen this store before take note that it's the more cool-casual twin of Max Mara which looks and feel more corporate.

Ok, Ok, my friends at least tell me I look chic, I guess it's the confidence that is inspired by "my stylist" and the suggestions of which classic pieces that I could add and also accessories that Max & Co may not sell. This limits my impulse buying of clothes that I regret and may not even wear. I should add that you may not initially appreciate that being told "that does not suit you" or "try this size" but at the end of the day you are not told that you look "great" in something that does not suit you or fit you properly. Get a "stylist" or use mine at Chifley Plaza, I call it "no regret" shopping and is cheaper in the long run.

Every suit comes with two pairs of trousers. George, who served me, was a smooth, fast talker, and a consummate salesman, but not overbearing. Go in knowing what you want, don't be afraid to strike a deal, and you'll get quality. They told me outright: it's repeat business they want.

They aren't offering homewares like the Melbourne store does. They have some good options for men and the quality is better then what you are going to get for a similar price in the likes of Cotton On. I stocked up on some much needed items to get me through the winter months. Overall the store is a miniature version of what H&M offers and they are due to have a CBD store at the end of 2015 which will be a similar size to the Melbourne GPO store.

And the nicer suit-y garb, the wool jackets and cream suits and such. But most of it is like a glorified Cotton On, sadly. And where's the big homewares section that Melbourne gets?! It's super cheap though, which is great. I'm holding out for the CBD store. That has to have all the cool stuff, surely.
