The window displays here always draw me in because the fabrics of the dresses are so colorful, and the clothes themselves are so classy and simple because they're all made from vintage 50s-esque patterns (think long skirts, flattering waistlines and artful accessories near the bust). Not to mention, they carry Miz Mooz, my favorite shoe brand from back in the States. The staff are quite helpful when approached, but won't always offer input if you come in for a browse. It may not be intentional, but given the modest size of the shop, I tend to feel a bit ignored if I don't get a greeting when I come in. The clothes are beautiful, well made and come in a variety of sizes, though I've been disappointed not to find more dresses that look as good one me as they do on the hanger. The company website is also a great preview of what you're likely to find in store, and there are a few dressing rooms where you can try things on. From $80 "sale" dresses to $180 regular ones, this shop is not easy on my budget, but I can't help myself. read more
