I'd been with a different Vet for my previous dog, yet this place and staff are heads and shoulders above the rest. My first visit Dr Husky spent quality time reviewing chart, previous care provider, a thorough exam from head to paws, and suggestion a plan for future health. All this on the 1st visit!!!!! i've not recvd this type of expertise nor attention in the 10 years at my previous vet. i am so much more knowledgeable and was given clear and concise advice for the benefit of my lil dude. I highly recommend Dr Husky and her staff. My poochie agrees!

And hoped to get her established with a new vet. But the morning of the appointment my puppy got sick and puked. They let me come in right when they opened. She was there for hours and I had to be the one to call to get updates. They told me I could come back at 5pm to get my dog and they'd go over things with me from there. They said I could take her home over night. But pushed for me to bring her back in the morning. It's now 5:20pm. They close at 5:30pm. They waited literally all day to tell me that she needs to be seen at a 24 hour clinic. She "may not make it through the night " said Dr Brown. The other assistants heavily suggested she is SO SO sick. They wanted to blame my breeder from the get go. Even before they got her tested. My breeder is an AKC certified breeder and I've been close to them and I trust them. This vet office used all kinds of pressure and scare tactics for me to go to their affiliated 24 hour care facilities. An assistant told me two people that work at Carolina Animal hospital also work at the same 24 hour clinic. They gave me meds for my puppy, but did not explain anything about them to me as they rushed me out .. I called a 24 hour clinic that I trusted & was an AKC clinic, and they told me it's safe to keep her home. It's not necessary to bring her in tonight. She was happy and playful with me when I took her home. And don't see how they thought she "may not make it through the night". I brought my puppy to another clinic and their prices are SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the $1234.05 bill that this insane place charged me. They charged me twice for a radiologist to view the x rays that were taken. My mom is a radiologist and used to work for a vet clinic, and she says they completely took advantage of me with everything they charged me for. They over did a bunch of different things that weren't necessary just to rack my bill up. This place will do everything to guilt trip you into spending more money. I had a leptospirosis test be charged $120 here. And $37 at the new place I went. Insane. Save your money and stress, DO NOT COME HERE. They pay people for good reviews. I'm absolutely disgusted by the service I received.

Typically I do not care which doctors my pets see but I definitely intend on bringing my two other dogs as well as my cat here to see Dr. Brown! I know that first visits when the pet is healthy, can be difficult to base a review on but my cat has a few issues which will allow me to get a better idea how this practice is ran. Overall, I was very pleased but I will be sure to update my review after taking my cat in if my experience is rated any lower than five stars.

You will never have to cross the threshold of PetSmart again. OK well that may be an exaggeration,…read morebut you will at least not do it as often. Dog Deli offers home delivery of dog food. You heard me. I learned about them because they started following me on Twitter. Smart move. So when I was running low on food this past Memorial Day, I thought I'd give them a try. So I sent them a DM at 9 am on Monday, Memorial Day (this is important) asking if they could deliver a large bag of Sr. Eukanuba Large Breed and Regular Large breed to my house ASAP. I got a tweet back saying they could get there by 10:30 am. Whaat?? Well at that point I had gone about my holiday working out and visiting friends, so I asked about later. They tweeted and said the regular delivery vehicle was unavailable but Gene would come by at 5:30. So literally, 20 minutes after I came home from my day, a friendly burly guy with 80 pounds of dog food on his shoulders plopped down the food in my pantry. He was overwhelmingly apologetic that it took him so long and for the delay. Double Whaat?? It gets better...The bill was $80. Seriously. At PetSmart, those brands easily will run me $95 to get out the door, so I tipped him that difference and still felt like a winner that I didn't have to schlep out and hurt my lower back transporting the huge bags from my car. A bonus is that if you know how often you go through bags of dog food, you can set up a schedule to ensure you never run out of food and they always have your brand in stock. The flyer they dropped off also said they have super fancy natural brands too. I will definitely be a regular!
