Stepping inside of Porta Bella I was greeted with such enthusiasm, entertained the entire time I was shopping, and catered to as I shopped. My sales associate name is Tony. During our conversation he did mention that he was in the industry for quite some time. 12 years to be exact. I could not let him out do me so he and I built camaraderie based on the retail industry and shared knowledge. Porta Bella has a lot of attractive outfits for men that allow us to dress to the nines or be suited to a T. I'm talking matching shoes to go with a tuxedo or suit, sox, cuff links, bow ties, hats, what more can you ask for, a handkerchief? They have that, what else? Just ask and they can make it happen. The best thing about Porta Bella working it's magic is, they offer an affordable value, an affordable price, for a good quality product. So, Porta Bella didn't have what I wanted, neither did the 8 other stores that I went to. I found Porta Bella to be a one stop shop. And they offer greater incentives when you purchase two outfits or suits. Like I mentioned, I didn't get what I was looking for, so Tony was able to give his sales pitch, that I found to be enticing and he was not being aggressive, or just grabbing suites just to make the sale. Tony understood the need and the occasion when I explained to him the occasion and why it needed to be a certain color. I told Tony that I'd take a stroll to another store to see if the had what I was looking for. I found something close but not the exact. Because the other store did not have the accessories to accompany the blazer, I didn't take it and went back to Porta Bella and I saw Tony playing it easy as if he knew I would return because he had the suit ready and waiting. When a sales associate like Tony, posses customer intuition linked with emotional intelligence he can better apply adaptive selling where he is confident and he knows that he has the ability to make the sale. knowing the competition and what they have to offer, in this case, what they didn't have to offer, was reassuring to Tony that I'd be back to get the suit. I'm satisfied with the purchase and I'd most definitely be willing to shop there again. And to... Inspire more, Yelp more!

Even worse was that they were priced just under $30 each for boring T's. I'll give this Uniqlo 3 1/2 stars for overpriced TShirts. To be fair, on this visit I did not surveil the whole store, but for now, I'll go across the way to see what they have at Marshalls.

I bought a suit for my daughter's wedding at Mens Warehouse (Forest Hills). I stood for a fitting…read moreand paid for some minor alterations to the pants and jacket. Once at the wedding I realized that the jacket turned out to be too tight and I had to leave it unbuttoned all night-for pictures and all. Also, the pants were returned to me from the tailor at Men's Warehouse with a double crease. I went back after the wedding to get it fixed but was told by a manager that I had to dry clean the suit before any further alterations could be performed. I followed up and came back after dry cleaning the suit, only to be told that the jacket could not be altered to fit me. So 3 trips to Men's Warehouse later, an ill-fitting suit and $600 in the trash-with a suit I can't wear anymore, I think I'll cut my losses here -- lesson learned. My advise. . . . stay away from this business.

The store also have a walk of shame in front of the store with pictures of people who have been captured in photos stealing. You also have to check in your bags at the counter when you walk in.
