We got ourselves a two bedroom and it was a great size with a huge balcony. The hotel is in a great location and the beach is right behind it. I had a toasted sandwich with hash browns. The hash browns were hot and crispy. They have self serve water. Even though the food comes out fast, you can take your time relaxing and enjoying the view. When we got there we had no problems finding somewhere to sit on the deck looking out onto the water. Staff were all really friendly and helpful which made me feel good about the place and service was unbelievably quick. We all ordered pancakes with maple syrup and ice cream on the side. This was the down side. The pancakes were really grainy to eat and didn't taste like normal pancakes which was a shame. The only thing that made it ok, was the ice cream on the side which was nice. For a really busy cafe to bring food out pretty quick, i was expecting better expectations due to the friendly staff and the service they delivered. I personally wouldn't come back here again for breakfast unless I ordered something else.

The best part about the water park is that it has a little cafe attached to it. So it was easy to jump out and get snacks for the kids without having to dress everyone. The proximity to the beach was great. There was a supermarket next door and lots of food options in the area. Our room was decent. It took a little longer to get into the room than we would have liked and no one called to tell us it was ready (they said they would). All in all a great place and we are planning to come back.

We've stayed at other Oaks resorts before and felt comfortable staying here as we've done had good experiences in the past with other branches of the chain. The resort offers a restaurant and bar - but the main draw card was the kids water pool playground area. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The room looked liked it had been recently refurbished. It had modern furniture and decor with a lovely kitchen area. My only dislikes about the hotel were :- 1. The room was very very Dusty.. Thank God the hubby had some Telfast on hand! I was sneezing away and had terribly itchy eyes and nose.. :( 2. The noise from outside our room from other guests in the hall ways and car park were really loud.. And also the constant slamming of doors from other rooms front doors was so annoying.. Overall, the hotel is okay if your staying for a short time and have kids to entertain.. But, the price point is quite high in my opinion..
