And the caffe Americano was... caffe Americano. What it's NOT: This is not a pasticceria... it's a BAGEL SHOP. You cannot get a bagel AND a nice brioche. You come here for a bagel. Breakfast bagel, bagel sandwich, bagel chips.... If you don't want a sweet pastry breakfast, and just want a taste of home, come here!

I don't remember what I had then, but I recently went back for a weeknight dinner. I wasn't too hungry (nor had a crazy sweet tooth) to get one of the cake slices, so I settled for a choco scone and the vegan bowl. The choco scone would have paired so well with jam, but I just had to settle for the scone itself. I was very hungry from walking around in the cold that I had it as my appetizer before the bowl! Once my vegan bowl arrived (rice with sauerkraut, squash, eggplant), with a measly amount of dressing on the side, I was able to have a more "balanced" meal, but got full really quickly. The reason I don't rate this location higher than 3 stars is because the cleanliness could be better. I had flies/a mosquito (??) near my table which put me off.
