The staff here is so friendly and welcoming and you're in for a big surprise after walking through the doors, this store is filled with souvenirs and gifts items with just about any kind of snacks you can imagine. The restrooms are immaculate and spacious you can see the team here understands what's important to travelers. I picked up a cute wooden refrigerator magnet for the RV that documents our visit with the store's theme and location. There are always interesting places to stop while traveling and Henry's is among the great ones in my opinions...

My experience at this gas station felt racially motivated, discriminatory, and extremely…read moredisrespectful. I stopped here to charge my car while traveling home after working long hours on a healthcare assignment. My emotional-support animal was wearing an ESA harness, yet an employee attempted to deny us entry, even though I personally watched several other customers enter and leave with dogs without being questioned. Unfortunately, my travel route required me to stop at this location twice. During my second visit, I overheard the same employee whispering to another worker about me and my animal. She said that she had already addressed us before and was now going to "let us do whatever we wanted." Shortly afterward, the other worker approached me and demanded to see my dog's "papers." Meanwhile, the other customers with dogs were not approached or asked to provide documentation. I explained the situation to employees at the neighboring gas station, and they told me they had heard about similar experiences involving this location. The way I was singled out, watched, discussed, and confronted made me feel unwelcome and racially targeted. Spend your money somewhere that treats every customer with equal dignity and respect. If you are Black, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I came here when I was visiting Lake Charles, LA, a while before Covid even started…read more This small store in the Prien Lake Mall had a lot of shoes. I would have bought something but they didn't have my size. Foot Lockers tend to be pretty consistent wherever you go, this place was no different.

This store seemed much larger than I expected and was very clean and well stocked - I came here looking for a throw pillow for my Mom but not just any throw pillow the criteria was it had to be functional verses decorative since she was wanting something small enough to support her head while reading in bed. I found a few at other retailers but everything I found was much to large and bulky, being this was for a specific application I needed to touch and feel it so shopping online wasn't going to work - what initially seemed to be a simple task was quickly turning into a scavenger hunt. I finally found exactly what she had requested and fortunately found a nice looking one because a perfectly sized pillow that was ugly as many throw pillows are wasn't going home with me. I chose the self-checkout register so I never interacted with any of the staff although there were plenty available on the floor as I shopped. Not that it mattered but what I thought would be an under $10 purchase quickly turned into nearly $30, but it does appear to be of decent quality and more importantly she loves it...

The store is spacious and very clean and organized and the one girl working the entire store alone was friendly but seemed a little overwhelmed but she was able to provide a great customer experience. I did like the fact that she double checked the size on both pairs before neatly putting them back in their boxes prior to ringing them up. I also liked that all the sizes were available directly under the shoes on display. This is definitely a store I'd return to in the future...

My association with this mall goes back many many years actually to the mid 70's it opened in 1972…read moreand was renovated in 1998, my first real job was here at a Hallmark owned shop, in those days these indoor malls were the thing and were filled with shoppers from the time the doors opened until they closed. It was rare to find an empty store and if there were any they weren't empty for long. Once I arrived for my shift there was no reason to leave unless I wanted to grab some Long John Silvers which in those days was just a short walk across the parking lot. The arcade was the hangout before work, after work or when visiting with my teenage friends on my days off - many of the people that worked in this mall back in the day were friends and we'd hangout on breaks usually at the Orange Julius counter, they sold the smoothies of the time, quick, delicious and cheap. The big retailers consisted of many that have long ago closed e.g Montgomery Wards, The White House, Piccadilly Cafeteria, record shops, and some very cool clothing stores that went by the wayside with disco music, we never knew how good the times were we were living in. I really didn't know what I'd be stepping into during my recent visit, my have things changed - although the main entrance opens early the stores and shops don't open until 11:00 AM, I got here a little early so I did a walk down memory lane and honestly it was like walking through the doors for the first time, I recognized nothing. There were quite a few people inside when I arrived some just enjoying the air conditioning other doing laps in their new shoes getting their steps in and a few security guards riding around on Segways all trying to emulate Paul Bart: Mall Cop. Well at the end of the day I was able to purchase what I came here for - unfortunately no Orange Julius anywhere in sight...
