Located in Alexandria, VA near Kingstowne, Rudy's is your place to go for all your golfing needs! Rudy's has a driving range for those who want to bring their own personal clubs to practice! They have their own bar and your traditional bar food (chips and dip, wings, quesadillas, etc). They also have 2 miniature golf courses with 18 holes. The service here was pretty good (obtaining items for miniature golf and for bar service).

Rudy's Golf is a nice venue to hang out w friends, alone, or small group. As I understand it, it's a former Top Golf location that is not rebranded and owned and operated under new management. While it looks like an early version of Top Golf what I enjoyed was the service for the event I was attending was A+, the drinks were good, and the food, ok. Tbf it was chicken fingers and sliders. I was told by several people that the sliders were dry but I can say the chicken fingers were like normal average chicken fingers. Rudy's also has a putt-putt course that looks cool and they have other events that look interesting like Bachata lessons. I plan to come back again after work sometime.

We came here the first day of my daughter's spring break. We wanted a place to have a good time and get a bite to eat as well. Ambiance - We got here around 12:30 so there wasn't a lot of people there when we arrived. It definitely had a golf/sports bar vibe as soon as you walk in. Food/Drinks - The food was ok. Nothing impressive, but if eating is not the main reason you're there, you'll be fine. I think the food was better when it was Too Golf. Service - The attendants were great. We got our food timely and our drinks were refilled before we could even ask. One guy even helped me with my swing. Overall, I would definitely go back. The family had a really good time.

Was super impressed with this place. Didn't have super high expectations for a "knock off" Topgolf, but it was the same experience for way cheaper. The staff was friendly and the food was good, especially great for the cost.

We came here on a Saturday night around 8pm as a group of five. I expected it to be crowded, but we were able to get a bag right away. We paid for 2 hours and then you had to pay an extra $10 to rent clubs. Then you have to carry those clubs to your assigned bay. For those who may not know, this was the first Top Golf in the country back in 2005 and then were eventually sold and bought to become Rudy's golf. You can very much tell how dated the entire place is and how there had not been good up keep overall. They have a large bin of golf balls just at your bay versus at Top Golf where you have a sensor that releases the balls. We never ran out of balls so that was a plus. We ended up mainly playing the distance game and had tried one of the golf course games, but it made no sense on where to hit so we had a lot of frustrations with that game. Our waiter came and checked on us pretty regularly, but we did only order a pitcher of beer and water. One thing I did notice about the place was that there were a ton of spider webs near the ceilings which I wish someone would have tried to clear out. I would say my conclusion is that this place was local to where we were staying and we were able to have to fun, but don't expect anything fancy. It could use some love and attention to bring it back to its glory. The prices were fairly reasonable. It does not seem like a place that gets very crowded as normally a Saturday night it should have been packed.

We've been to Rudy's a few times now. The service is always great. The food menu is limited (especially the dessert menu) but what they do have is pretty good. The staff is nice and they handle your needs and get your food and drinks out quickly. I heard that they're not staying open much longer though. Pretty sad if that's true cause it's been great having golf there again.

Rudy's is in the old Top Golf off Van Dorm. They did a little remodeling of the space. Expanded the dining area off the bar. They upgraded the hitting bays and added different game options or just a practice option. The bays have servers and the menu is a QR code. Full bar. They bays are by the hour instead of per game and have unlimited golf balls. Bay rates depend on the time of day and weekdays vs weekends. 6 people per bay. They have reopened the 2 mini golf courses too. It's nice to a place to hit balls rain or shine while having a nice snack and a full bar.

Affordable place if you want to play golf, grab a drink, and or a bite to eat. Mini golf course course was pretty basic but can't complain for $12. Draft beer selection was good. Food was pretty average, decent flavor with decent portions. Severs seemed much more focused on the golfers in the bays instead of the people in the restaurant / bar area.

We're regulars (2-3x/week) at Rudy's. What I appreciate as much as anything is the effort they put into improving the overall experience.

As a HUGE Bears fan, this was truly a treat for me and I appreciated everything from the decor to the menu. Chicago dogs? Italian beef? MY HEART! This is the perfect dive bar to catch a game and I absolutely love the environment. As a Chicago(land) native, Ivy and Coney hits home in all the right ways. Tucked away in the Shaw neighborhood, this unassuming spot is a Midwest haven in the heart of DC. Let's start with the food: the Detroit-style pizza is phenomenal. Crispy edges, generous portions (you get 8 slices!), and packed with flavor. Perfect to share! Other notable mentions included the cheese curds, smash burger, or legit Chicago-style dogs. The space itself is exactly what a dive bar should be: cozy, casual, a little rowdy when it needs to be, and full of character. The back bar with the retractable roof is a hidden gem for game days. When I visited it was a beautiful evening and having the roof retracted added a special touch! And the staff? Peak Midwest nice (IYKYK). Friendly, quick, and genuinely happy to see you. Catch me here on Mondays, Thursdays, or Sundays (i.e., whenever my team is on the screen!). Whether you're here for sports, snacks, or just the atmosphere, Ivy and Coney delivers every time. It's my new go-to spot for a slice of home, and if you're from the Midwest (or just love great food and chill vibes), it should be yours too.

First, the hostess acted like we were an intrusion into her evening, didn't welcome us or make eye contact. She sat us at a booth, which didn't work, so she did seat us at a table. I asked for a vegetarian menu, knowing there was one, but she walked off, did not return. Our waiter was a young man, spoke very softly; we both had a difficult time hearing him. My wife ordered her drink; I asked for a few more minutes. That drink did not appear until half my meal was over, which I did not appreciate. And I had to ask 3 times to get the drink, including asking another waiter. We ordered salad and main dish; my vegetarian menu finally appeared. It just seemed both the hostess and our waiter did not care to attend to us. I do not know if we will be returning; and to top this all off, both the hostess and waiter called us 'Guys'. When two older women are sitting at the same table, we are ladies, or simply nice to see you two tonight. Please tell your wait staff to get this right. We like Bungalow Lakehouse, it is close to home, and the atmosphere is comfortable.
